you know what separates us from the top teams? A functional midfield... don't waste your time trying to figure out what is wrong with this Milan... Conte's Juve won with half strikers because they had a great midfield, this Napoli doesn't have world beaters for strikers or the best defenders but they have a good midfield... same with Roma, Shaarawy, Perotti, Florenzi and Dzeko aren't good enough to win on their own, but they have a top midfield ...

Once we have sorted out our midfield we'll come good... we have individual qualities in attack and back line, but our midfield remains shit.. it has been for some 8 or 9 years

That "new" line-up is just how the old 4-3-3 XI was played but now it is on paper.

The LB (DES) playing low with limited runs, Bona and Suso on the sides and 3 midfielders...
