What's the latest news? When can we expect him back

he is already back in training but IMO the whole upcoming month he must focus
in his fitness level..

April will be the month....but again...im not a doctor nor his coach

lol he is literally like a new signing

imagine the right flank with Conti Kessie and Suso

(kessie is starting to gel with everyone and finally shows he is a beast in the making)

the left flank needs reinforcements ( LCM and LW)

He has recovered from his injury and he's training with the team. It will take some time for him to get ready to play a full match, but i think he might get some minutes against Genoa or Chievo (11 or 18 March).

That would be great! he would then probably be at 100% for April/May and the final stretch of the season

Needs to show he's more than a Nocerino of wingbacks to bench Calabria.

Calabria doing really well so don't know what his place will be, but he will be a great addition to the team. Even if it's just on the bench right now. After being out so long, I don't expect him to be on his best right away

After being so long away I think it's safe to say we will only see the real Conty by next season. With Calabria in this form I don't mind at all.

I mind because our second RB is still Abate and that is quite a problem.

He's not going to take a starting position right away since hes been out of the team for so long.

But I can see Calabria being moved to the left and Conti starting on the right eventually

Calabria is a RB only. Conti has to earn his spot, he won’t simply be put back into the team.

I think we'll find enough time for both of them. When you have 2 such good options, you can push the gas at 100% and bring in fresh legs in 2nd half to run some more. Not to mention games in other competitions... We're covered at RB, so we just need to get a new promising LB.

Aren't Abate, Calabria and Conti all injured? They'd find playing time although it'd obviously be nicer if one of them was a competent LB.

Anyway this season is likely over for Conti. Unless Calabria is out I wouldn't play Conti, too risky from both team's and his POV.

What a failure. Cut out losses and sell him to Genoa.

Conti’s visit to the US has confirmed that his knee ligaments were not torn but also showed that they were not fortified as expected. There is a possibility that he undergoes another surgery but that’s still uncertain [Sky]
