So, Italy got their ticket.

What are your best 11? Given that everybody is fit. Assuming Italy will play 4-3-3.

I've been thinking of whether it's a good idea to field Bonucci and De Rossi as CB's. Great ability to build up play from the back like Conte wants. Chiellini is an real solid defender but when in possession not the greatest. Darmian is a must and I guess it will be who is better on form between Florenzi and De Sciglio. Mid is undisputed for me: Veratti - Pirlo - Marchisio. The attack will exist out of Candreva, Pelle and Insigne.

Starting:
Buffon
Florenzi/Bonucci/De Rossi/Darmian
Verratti/Pirlo/Marchisio
Candreva/Pelle/Insigne

It's easy to switch formation when desired. When you want more control of the game, its simple for me: bring De Rossi a line forward, bring in a defender and take out the worst preforming midfielder going into a 4-2-3-1:

Buffon
Florenzi/Bonucci/Chiellini/Darmian
Marchisio/De Rossi
Candreva/Verratti/Insigne
Pelle

LW and LB are probably the positions in most contention, i dont think insigne or DES are certified starters.

Italy definitely need a consistent anchor going into the 2016 Euro.

Also it would be best for Italy to play a wide formation since they have several wingers they can make use of.

De Sciglio, Santon, Ranocchia and Shaarawy shouldn't even be called up.

Florenzi should only play as a RM and he has competition there from Candreva.

De Rossi shouldn't be a starter.

Chiellini is the first name in defense.

Pirlo has dropped a couple of levels in a last 2 years.Alot depends on Veratti and whoever Conte sticks with him.

Balotelli hasn't been in the squad for a long time.He needs regular time here if he wants to go to Euro.

I have faith in Conte for this.He will make a team out this team.Minimum QF expectation.

Dump Buffon for Sirigu.

Move Chiellini to the left, des is horrible and slam de rossi in the back 4

Has candreva played in midfield ?.. if so slot him alongside Pirlo and ratti

Up top Berrardi Balo and insigne/ses

If not replace balo with Pelle... he deserves a chance.
