He is young but Davide Di Gennaro isn’t letting a little thing like youth stand is his way

MILAN – Davide Di Gennaro hasn’t even turned 19 yet but he is already a talent to boast about. Fans loved him in last year’s Primavera league semi-final and since then the attacking midfielder has continued to establish a name for himself with 14 league goals and a notable contribution to the youth side’s first place classification this year.

The young man that the Rossoneri fans have their eyes on is only 18 years old, but he has two feet that seem to sing from the pitch. Davide has a finishing touch, by now he is more or less renowned for his assists and style on the field. His game is like music in motion, with finesse that offers efficiency in front of the goal.

Lately Dige (that's his nickname) seems to have a special way with Primavera hat tricks, with the one last year in February’s 4-0 Milan victory over Brescia and then the one a few Saturdays ago in Milan 6-0 Cagliari. Not bad, not bad at all. He has character to spare and he is just getting started.

If he was really that good, he would have made the first team already in my opinion. I hope I'm wrong, but how good can you become when you play against other youngster every week with less talent than you. Loaning him to a Serie A or B team would be great to see how good he really is.
