Yeah, i'm just saying i remain skeptical, because i havent seen anything that gives me a reason not to be.
He'll be remembered primarily for two positive things. 1) Scudetto after 7 seasons, 2) Enforcing a generation change which Ancelotti couldnt do. His first season was very good, while third season was almost as remarkable in the way he adapted to Zlatan's and Silva's departure.
Many players would be thankful to him for shaping or reinventing their careers, particularly Boateng, De Sciglio, El Shaarawy and Abate. I could even add Robinho here, who got more trust than most coaches would have given him.
His limitations have been obvious since the last 2 years and he certainly had to leave. But I'm absolutely thankful to him for the Scudetto, for the transition phase and for some really tasty press conferences. Always came across as an intelligent, witty man who did not make the mistake of taking this game too seriously. His continuing popularity with Galliani, the dressing room as well as the Curva stands testament to this fact.
Grazie, Max. Good Luck ahead.
my reasons are that she seems to have put fire under Galliani's ass. Galliani will either leave by himself (like he almost did earlier) or be forced out. OR, he'll get his shit together and stop running this company like it's an experiment.
Allegri leaving is also mostly because of Barbara I think. Say what you want about the media outburst, but sometimes they are needed. Allegri lost the squad, he had to go... were galliani willing to do this himself?

What has she shown professionally?
Letting personal opinions leak into professional life is like #1 no no
So good to see this thread in the history section . Don't care what any stats say, I've been watching football long enough to notice max wasn't doing anything revolutionary and wasn't motivating the players. We could definitely have gotten a worse coach but then he probably wouldn't have lasted as long. The sassuolo result just cut me too deep
thats one way of looking at it. You could be right.
But devil's advocate would say barbara and berlusconi clan in general created distress and unsettled.

i'm not sure where i stand on it
Massimiliano Allegri @The_Dai_One 22 Dec
We played mediocre for 60 min and then like shit last 30, can you really ask for more? I think not, it's all about balance

I don't know if the media is feeding us what we want to hear, or if it really is Barbaras words, but she seems to want change. And she doesn't seem to be wanting to do everything by herself.
I don't think Barbara wants to "run the club" like Galliani did, she wants to appoint the right people to do it instead. And have an overseeing role together with her father (and maybe even Galliani).
I don't know man, I don't think she should be underestimated, she's grown up as a Berlusconi.

The only thing that pisses me off with her is her relationship with Pato. But then again, she wasn't really involved in Milan so much back then, so let that be forgotten.
I tend to agree. All I know is that she is the one who went public with being fed up. If she kept her mouth shut, Allegri might still be here.
did the tv channel her family owns tell you this

But i do remember a quote from berlu saying that he dint like the way we parked the bus vs barca and he even mentioned that he would sack allegri if he continued to use defensive tactics.
