Fiorentina - Milan [Week 34]

All right..back to Serie A.

Considering our last result versus Fiorentina, this game shouldn't be a problem.

We've got Maldini and Kaladze missing because of yellow cards, so I think Serginho will start.

Er.. I won't be that confident.. Yes, Milan did really well in San Siro but now it is in Florenze, not in San Siro! Maldini should rest and maybe Serginho will play!

Cafu should be given a rest and it's better to rotate most of the players so they'll ready for the 2nd leg of CL match! I wonder if Inzaghi can play in this match, maybe for 30 minutes?

My prediction: 2-0 by Sheva and Kaka

This should be the line up for the Fiorentina match but in the place of Costacurta better put Stam,!!!!!

If there's ever a better chance for Pippo to start (and hopefuly to score), this is the game. No doubt concentration will be focused on the 2nd leg vs PSV but no choice but to win the game, Brescia earned a draw 2 weks ago since we were bothered with the Inter game.

Who should be rested? IMO: Rui Costa for Kaka, Serginho for Seedorf with the Dutchman deputizing for Pirlo, Nesta in for Maldini and Kaladzhe on the left. Maybe Dhorasoo can play too. Sheva should play too, he needs to start scoring again.

Fiorentina is battling with relegation. Will Bojinov play? Their form lately is not so encouraging. We should win this one. Our last 4 fixtures (Brescia, Siena, Parma and Fiorentina) are all battling to avoid the drop and we really should've win all. Too bad for the Brescia and Siena games, though.

We really need the points. Juve is playing Bologna which i think they should take so we need to avoid dropping any points if we still wanna keep first place. The home game against Fiorentina was excellent. But i dont think it will be the same this time. We're gonna have to work hard for this one. Maldini is already out of this one which is good cos he'll get the rest and a new cycle of yellow cards. Fiorentina has only won twice in their last 2 games. I hope they approach this like Parma did. An easy win will be good but a hard fought win will be even better. 2-0 Milan and i expect Inzaghi to be a factor in this one. Crespo might come on as a sub or not play at all.

We should really rest sum of the players....looking at how lethargic they look this morning in the CL tie against PSV in the 2nd half of the game, sum of the key players should be rested...looking at the game schedule wif Fiorentina this Sat, CL 2nd leg next and a crucial game against Juve days after, Ancelotti shouldn't risk the fitness of the players...we haf enuff depths within the ranks and players who can fill the shoes of the other...

I'd say Milan will beat Fiorentina irregardless of who plays in the game, for the simple reason that we're too strong and hungry to win the double this year...all the hard work, efforts and passion the players displayed in each and every game we'd played will not be wasted.....

You can't consider our last result vs Viola worth anything bcoz that would just be stupid IMO.

Let's all remember that Inter lost 2-1 away against Messina last weekend. The first fixture, Inter-Messina ended with the scoreline 5-0, so quite similiar result to that of Milan-Fiorentina..

I just hope to clinch the victory, even if I'm not quite sure if we'll manage to get anything more then a draw out of Florence.

And Ambro is suspended as well..

I think that this match is even more important than the PSV 2nd leg game.
In order to win the title race we will definitely need a win. A draw in this game may cost us the title...We should field in our best players for this game..
As for CL 2ng leg..we got a 2 goal advantage...I am not so worried about it...

All we really need now is to get a lead at serie A first so that we can relax a bit on future serie A game and concentrate more at CL final when the time comes.

I would prefer this line with the restrictions due to card accumulations and keeping the players fresh....

Absolutely need to win this match because frankly I don't think that we can make any more ground if we lose any points in this match, even if it is only 2.... With the CL in our head, it would be really really hard to be fresh...

Wish we had JUVE just a week after the CL final, not that particular weekend... But hey schedule was done a long time ago.. So, what we gonna do but just play the games....

And if we stay behind JUVE in the point table after our game against JUVE, SCUDETTO is gone..

If stay at the same point or even if we are ahead by only 1 point, I would say that JUVE have one hand on the title...

If we are ahead by just 2 points, then it is 50 -50

If we are ahead by just 3 points, MILAN have a slight advantage...

If we are ahead by more than 3 points (which is most unlikely to happen), then MILAN have a hand on the title....

Any losing of points will cost us Scudetto. Now Juve have just Serie A and they will concentrate just on that. We have CL and that worries me about league..
I really don't know who need to play now.. some tired but main players or those who played less.. I hope Ancelotti will make right decision.
I have faith in our team. Let's bring two trophies! FORZA MILAN!

Yup, losing points here will cost a lot! If we win here (and Juve win), we can concentrate in San Siro against Juve and beat them and win the Scudetto!

Let's put Fiorentina out of their misery and send them back to Serie B where they belong! It was a joke the way they were fasttracked and promoted to Serie A last year and the results show that they aren't yet capable of playing at this level so a another year in Serie B will be the best for them.

Here's something to think about: the only Italian teams to win a Scudetto/CL double are the 65 Inter and the 94 Milan.
Let's hope the 05 Milan will soon be in that category.
