And he did score a penalty against SPAL and I think another, but it just puzzles me when you give players with inferior technique penalty duties.

Of course, I think part of it is just that they're folding under the pressure.

Kessie and Rodriguez aren't given PK duties for no reason. They've proven it in the past and are probably 50x better than Suso and Hakan in training
Pretty much. Ppl are so mad at Kessie for not scoring...but it was a great save as well.

Even great players miss them. Last year, Messi, Neymar and Suarez missed a bunch as well.

What a time to be alive that was :proud:

I think Romagnoli should be our penalty taker. He can do no wrong.

I really can't understand why our LB and DM takes our penalties.

Suso? Hakan? Bona?

Not the first time this question been raised.

Missing a 90th-minute PK is tinpot mentality regardless of the scoreline.

Kessie has a tinpot mentality and a negative value of finesse.

Not asking him to become an artistic midfielder, but when he needs to put the ball in the back of the net on the penalty spot he's gotta be capable.

Also did not celebrate the winner with the rest of the team.

Punishment needed.

Nice to see a corner goal again.
If there's one aspect where we seem to have regressed then it's corner goals/headers.

Silva with the last corner and headed goal.

Tbh, I don't remember us being great at corners under Montella.

We've always been fucking dreadful. At least we tend to get the ball in the box.

If there's one thing that will always piss me off, it's passing the ball back to the halfway line instead of crossing it in. It's just inexplicable.

Exactly.

And Silva would have still scored the winning goal anyway.

More goals puts us further ahead.
If ever we had to qualify on goal difference, it would come in handy

How beautiful was that Lazio draw against Bologna. Their mental collapse has started, Inters will soon follow.

And meanwhile we have turned on Andre Silva. He will beast the last 10 games. Will probably net a hat trick against 7uve.

the positive from this match is 3 points and reaction to turn the game around.
however, I think this match should be a lesson to our players that if they don't sweat their jerseys they are not going to win.
we started the game well and scored an early goal and instead of pressing to score another and finish the game we chose to sit back and allow chievo space and possession.
this is unacceptable and I hope that in the next home game against an opponent like chievo we will not have this attitude.
last sunday we managed to turn it around and I have to credit the lads for this but it would not always be possible to come from behind.
I think the international break comes in a good point for us because we need the time to recover our injured players, especially in right back position.
also for some of our players the break will be good to regain their focus and relax a little. since early February they play non-stop and I believe players like suso and kessie need this break.
FORZA MILAN!
