when the kalinic interest from atletico madrid was first reported, i knew he wouldn't go.

Then when the agreement was reached, i knew he wouldn't go.

Then when he passed the medical, i knew something would hold it up.

We will not be rid of kalinic that easily. We will in the end, but we will suffer.

Soon we will hear news stories like "there are other clubs in bundesliga interested in kalinic but the player has rejected all other destinations." :proud:

I'm not even mad. I am just impressed at the dark cloud this ratbag brings everywhere he goes.

He'll still end up at Atletico. If that's where Kalinic wants to be and if that's who Simeone wants then it will go through. I can't imagine Gameiro being such a financial burden for a pretty wealthy club.

Tbh I don’t care about awards...I just mentioned it as an afterthought. Yoko’s a very good player on his day and still extremely young. Also, he’s a very similar player to Gattuso so will be learning off the best firsthand.

There are literally no downsides to this deal.
Famous last words :o

I think Martial is a great pick for us. He has speed which is easily one of our biggest weaknesses. We've seen a much worse player in Deleufeu give us a big boost with speed alone, just imagine the impact Martial could have on our game.

All you need is to hit him with an outlet pass the moment we regain possession and he'll draw multiple defenders with his runs, opening up space for Higuain and a trailing Hakan.
I REALLY hope we get Martial.
Let him make his case to France for Euro 2020

He completed his medical, and likely already signed his contract

Atletico would be committing mercato suicide by not completing the deal.

DiMarzio doesn't seem bothered at all. Says they want Batshuayi in addition to kalinic

Plus Batshuayi may cost just as much as Kalinic for those thinking he's some sort of replacement.

Radio Rossonera: Jose Mauri's agent is talking to Leo at Casa Milan.

This guy should have left for some lower Serie A team long ago. I bet he could play some regular football and could probabile save his career if he left. He is not Milan material though, but he looked "semi-decent" from time to time in friendlies.. if Bertolaci and full of energy guy could find teams...:fp:

The whole midfield may get a makeover if they are looking to possibly sell Biglia.

sell biglia, bona

get martial, rabiot, sms and bakayoko

if we are talking about dream scenarios

tbh possibly could be done

bona + biglia + paid loan + future installments for SMS

bakayoko - loan + option to buy

martial - paid loan + option to buy (also could be raised through selling Bacca, Silva)

Rabiot - 30m (last year of contract + Maldini factor)

moreover, if we sell RR to Arsenal (35m) - bertolacci + cash for Laxalt

Very worrying couple of days

I think there's reason to start panicking

so far, only oraclo mentioned this

Hypothetically though. If Montolivo, Bertolacci, Mauri all leave, you'll need some bodies for the bench as well. Then maybe you throw in the possibilities of Biglia or Locatelli being sold you never know.

Wolves are closing in on a £12m deal to sign Belgium international Leander Dendoncker from Anderlecht. (Source: SkySports)

12 is cheap for such a young guy with potential int this market

Bernard has arrived at Everton's training ground to undergo his medical ahead of his free transfer from Shakhtar. (Source: SkySports)

I’m not overly upset but this. Could have been good but not a big loss at all

Apart from the Kalinic hitch, which seems cosmically determined, I'm very satisfied with Leo (and Maldini) so far.

Antonelli and J. Mauri are possibly leaving, and I think Montolivo will be next.
