Hmmm true. Delaying payment by 2 years is a very nice move by us. But i can see why city were hesitant. If at the end of 2 years Galliani goes "nah. thanks but no thanks" then they would be majorly trolled and livid.

The 2 year loan works, as Tevez's past history shows that he is good for 18months - 2 years then goes off the boil or can get upset easily tbh. WEith that said hes a great player and does work for the team.

All the 2 year loan means is that we don't have to pay for him for 2 years. City will most likely demand obligation to buy after this 2 year period.

It is just like them doing us a favor not making us give them the money for a little while. I guess its a form of persuasion, but in the end it doesn't really make the deal better for us in the long run...

Of course it does. With Inflation, in 2 years, especially in Europe where they print Trillions of Euros to save the Banks will mean that the money is worth a lot less in 2 years.

Furthermore, we can SELL him within 2 years if we need to and never have to lay out cash. And, if we sell another player (Pato, Ibra, Robinho), we can use that money to eventually pay City. It's for sure better.

Yeah, I understand that it is better, but I'm just trying to explain to people that we aren't getting Tevez for free for 2 years and then be able to just let him leave.

If we don't want him we will still have to sell him, and the loan isn't FREE, we still have to pay his wages :thumbsup:

Thats true, bevause his value will depreciate by 2014 since he will be 29 and since we are probably obliged to pay full amount after two years, I.e. 25 mil, it doesnt benefit milan whatsoever :fp:

Thats true, because his value will depreciate by 2014 because he will turn 29 and since we are probably obliged to pay full amount after the two year loan completion, I.e. 25 mil, it doesnt exactly benefit milan whatsoever :fp:

although the lad is worth the price even though he is a lil prick.
