too many great players to list but if pushed all time favorite player: Maldini
We beat an in form Atlanta side who are managed very well, Piatek has been an excellent signing, Hakan has been poor hopefully by scoring he can turn a corner and up his game (I still doubt his longevity) he may prove me wrong. Either way every game from here on in is crucial if the team can win as many as possible and our rivals lose more - great  the priority is now securing CL that is all there is to it. Enjoy every victory we get it is a step in the right direction and we have a longer road ahead of us than many here anticipate.

Forza Milan ;)

Maldini to Sky: "Rino [Gattuso] listens to our opinions. Sometimes he does not like them but he listens. Confrontations open the mind. We have objectives, to give solidity to the club, to the team which has been without CL football for six years."

Maldini: "Higuain? It's a marriage that did not go very well and it can happen. This is a healthy environment in which you can grow. I don't see how can a footballer not grow here."

Maldini: "The team is young but strong, at the beginning it was underestimated but these results increase the self-esteem."

Maldini: "Romagnoli is a silent player. I might have not been ready to wear the armband at that age. He's grown a lot from all point of views."

Maldini: "It is a total growth [club. We need to understand what our real strength is: we have to compete for Champions League spot. In all this, a certain order is the only way to follow."

Maldini: "Piatek like Shevchenko? Sheva is very popular but there is only one Sheva. He was the champion who made us achieve unbelievable goals. Piatek is doing amazing things at a more difficult time than the one in which Sheva had arrived in."

Maldini: "I find it difficult to make this comparison anyway. They are two different teams, in different eras. The function of an executive is different to that of the player."

Maldini: "For the players there is the honor and the burden to play in a stadium like San Siro that sometimes hardly forgives. But those who live it in a calm way signifies that they have personality and we are looking for players like that."

Maldini: "Paqueta is a smart player. In spite of everything he has had a big impact on the team. A player like him and with his qualities has resolved the problem of transition. He always looks forward and has glimpses of class inside him."

If you thought this couldn't get more embarrassing:

Icardi in Twitter row with sister over Wanda
by Football Italia
Mauro Icardi is not just in an ugly row with Inter over wife Wanda Nara, but also had a very public argument with his sister via Twitter.

The striker can’t seem to find peace at the moment, as he was stripped of the captaincy due largely to Wanda – who acts as his agent – negotiations over a new contract and comments in the media.

He then pulled out of games against Rapid Vienna and Sampdoria, officially due to a knee injury, but many believe he is trying to avoid playing time.

On Saturday evening, he broke his silence in the worst way, engaging in a very public row with his sister Ivana.

It has been bubbling under for quite some time, as Ivana went on several TV shows in Italy and Argentina begging to be allowed to see her nephews, openly blaming Wanda for turning her brother against her.

She also commented on Twitter this week that the Inter breakdown was inevitable because he needed "someone who really has your interests at heart" taking care of his business dealings.

Wanda, in return, hinted Ivana was only trying to get money off her successful sibling.

On Saturday night, after the latest plea: “I want my brother back”, Icardi finally replied.

“It’s not going to happen. Why don’t you try using the time you spend on here WORKING!!! You’ll achieve nothing with this strategy. And remember to ask about some of your other six brothers, seeing as you never do that on Twitter. Bye.”

Ivana shot back that she didn’t have to ask about them on Twitter, “seeing as they answer the phone when I call them. They don’t have a viper behind them who casts a spell to make them in her image. Stop being so stupid and open your eyes! Get back to being the person you were.”

Wanda then joined in by posting an image titled “Icardi family reunion” of Mauro, his two daughters and his father Juan.

It’s safe to say Icardi’s career is almost over. He resembles lentini in so many ways.

He’ll never play for a big club, never.

His drama and lack of some characteristics have put many clubs off.

No sane professional person will even consider singing him.

Please explain.

Lentini was very wild in his personal life. Football was secondary. One time he drove from Rome to Torino iirc to see his married gf and had an accident while driving. Put him 3 days in a coma and he was never the same again.

To be exactly accurate, the woman he was seeing was Toto Schillaci's estranged wife. Still was a huge scandal.

Merda's shit situation is the sprinklers on top of our glorious sundae. The cherry will be Inter's defeat to Sampdoria.

Inter losing and Roma/Lazio dropping points would make this weekend perfect.

Lol? It’s not like Donnarumma had much to do. Could he do better at goal? Yeah, but it was only 1...

 from ForzaInterForums...

Fuck what a nice goal by Piatek. He's the real deal

That was one of the best goals of the season. This Piatek is the real deal. I hope he finds his Wanda soon

They integrated Paqueta immediately, you laughed at them for Bakayoko but he turned out great for them, you were not convinced about Piatek, but they gave him a real chance. Fuckers had luck, but mostly they made bold choices and believed in them!

God damn Piatek...more importantly we should have gotten Leo back to sort out Inter.

I really like Calabria as a player

I have only one question...milan were threaten to be thrown out of Europa League because of FFP and then in January they go and invest 70m€ for Paqueta and Piatek (both great signings).

How's that possible?

Leonardo had 2 windows and he did very well. Marotta had practically none. This transfer windows was anyway closed because of the fucking FFP.

Lets not beat around the bush either, gattuso is doing a much better job then LS. The players he has got he has them performing much better and integrates them so well. Also, Paqueta looks like a good player damn Leonardo is good. How come he doesnt need a season to adjust to a new league? This is so frustrating, these fuckers shouldn't have been able to buy either of those two in January with FFP.

Let's just be grateful that we had 2 super transfer windows where we signed 4 top youngsters (Caldara, Baka, Paqueta + Piatek) and 3 highly rated youngsters for the Primavera. I watched Djalo's full debut against Juve and that kid is a monster in the making. Abanda also played pretty well too. Both have signed 4.5 year contracts so are expected to step up to the first team in future.

2 fast, skilful wingers (any 2 of Saint-Maximin, Lozano, Groeneveld, Bergwijn would be great), 1 top RCM to replace Kessie (hopefully SMS) and with Conti + Caldara returning would be the strongest XI in Serie A. Luckily all the papers have been linking us to these exact moves lately so we don't have to dream. With CL qualification this would be financially viable too.

Would definitely be on par, if not better than Napoli. In a few years once the team gains more exp. (most are still young) we can definitely reach Juve levels.

Very true, but juve will be stronger for at least 2 more years.

We are all happy now but calma, 14 games to go... 14. Two unlucky draws and you are down.

Now Empoli, they are technical and can do well in counter.

I never was into the SMS hype, but currently he could be a good signing.

He has to grow tactically, but skills and power are there and since he never played for a big club, he currently earn 1,5 (Andrea Poli level salary)

If we can sign him for a reasonable price and give him something below 3,5m per season, he's good.

Massive upgrade on Kessie

For wing Coutinho minimum, maybe Neymar. No random generator baguette or windmill gamble, thank you very much.

Taking Verratti as part of the Neymar deal would suffice for mf.
