Yeah. But then we had Adi Ilie. And Lacatus. Now i hope Dica will be in a great form and Badea should play in front not Oprita. Loved the goal he scored against Vaslui. Cristocea, the ex-Faru player, seems to be in a good form as well.

^^yeah, Cristocea should start. But Steaua should defend well. Not conceeding will be key since Standard have no flair in their attack. What game are you going to watch? Milan or Steaua's? :D

Milan play's today, Steaua tomorow. If they would have played on the same day, Steaua. For me it's Steaua first, Milan close second. :p

This is a hard game but y think Steaua will triumph with 1-0 a goal from Dica.
It would be a interested group in champions league with Milan :devil3:

Magster, I'm from Cluj :D

Despite the nervy start, Steaua won comfortably with Cristocea missing out on at least a brace. David, I sense you detest Steaua just a little ;) But like it or not, thanks to them, we might get to watch some top sides in the near future. My highlight has so far been Milan vs Barcelona 2003 summer in Washington D.C. Milan lost 2-0 (Ronaldinho goals) but Sheva hit the bar. Even a lackluster performance couldn't ruin that day ... they were European Champions! :proud:

Dinamo, I detest too much. :D

Steaua still needs a pure finisher though. Badea's 2nd goal wasn't great finishing but a GK mistake. Mazilu's still not @ Rapid.

In Liga 1 everyone run to sign Mazilu,but Badea scores 2 important goals in a champions league match.I think we dont need Mazilu,MM Stoica knowes wat he is doing.Anyway now, Steaua is in the group stage and needs some improvement.I heard about Novakovic a striker from Litex Loveci from Bulgaria.
But also in the group stage Steaua will strengthening with Radoi and Iacob.

p.s. i hope to see Milan to Ghencea stadium. :devil:

A friend of mine is a huge Dinamo fan. So huge, he was supporting Standard yesterday. Are you simlilarly hoping Dinamo loses today?

No. I'm hoping Dinamo and Rapid advance today. I'd usually cheer for the opposing teams, even in Europe (I cheered for Partizan when they kicked them out two years ago, for example), but this is too good a moment for Romanian football and if we play this thing right it'll have a beneficial long term impact not only on Liga I but on the national team as well.

Yep, I agree. Maybe some Liga I players might outperform foreign based players. Maybe some of the foreign based players will return to Liga I (before they're 34 :D ). What is certain though is that things can only get better for Romanian football - and its begining to show.

Badea vs Standard 2 goals, Cristea vs Valencia 2 goals. We all know what happen to Cristea since then. :head: Badea 'must sit with his feet on the ground'.
About the group draw, I hope for a 3rd place, Dynamo Kiev are also a strong team. :(
