agree and im not too confident of beatin inter.

yea we in this amazin form and i hope inter cant get anymore lucky than they hav been and i hope a serious beatin is waitin for them at some point, hopefully next week.

but tactics will win this game, we attack, they defend and counter and do it effectivly, honestly im kinda not lookin forward to this game

i see some people are putting gattuso in their derby team-NOOO! yes he wud be one of the first names on it any other season but he is in bad shape and is far too sluggish since he came back frm injury a few weeks ago, he done terrible against juve and he was carried today. ambro and flams/or maybe seedorf playin a more defensive role.

after today i think becks might get the chop

this will be the most hotly contested derby in years, the atmosphere will be amazing.

isnt it lil unbalanced on right side i would prefer zambrotta if he is fit or need seed or becks in the midfield if abate is going to play, i hope ducky is ready to fly high

i like this team alot. some people in here are unsure about abate!? i cant understand that, he has played very well the last few games, excellent pace and Leo will warn him to not mess around in our own half or close to our own goals against inter.. we need his pace down the right.

flamini and ambro will hopefully boss the middle of the pitch, nesta and silva will clean up in centre back which just leaves us hoping ronaldinho can produce the magic on the night and boriello to continue doing whats hes doing and we'll all be celebrating in Milano on sunday night!

If Pato is fit, playing Pato in the right with Pirlo playing forward and playing Ambro and Becks instead of 2 DMs will be the ultimate attacking formation.

I am just waiting to hear our medical report before fantasizing formations. I'm pretty worried about the injuries we are getting the second half of season. We say Juventus is sucking big time, but we forget that the main reason is that the squad is decimated by injuries. It could happen to us too. So I am just praying that our squad remains fit always.

granted we know it will be tough as usual, i see us pulling out a nice win..this time will be a diff. story..we will not be getting a red card and having them trounce on us..with pato coming back and borriello and dinho' connecting really nicely, we will be ready for them this time around..

Very Important to stay grounded, todays game was an impressive win but the Milan derby is no ordinary game and as many have said tactics will win the day whomever plays it smarter has a better chance of winning it. Nothing would please me more see Merde get a total routing. I really hope Milan can carry this form into the game and impose themselves on inter. we have to be wary of their counter attack, keep possession well and make them chase us for the ball for as long as possible. when our chances do arrive there can be no holding back. I believe we can win it but only if we play it right limit their counter attacks and most importantly not allow the importance of the match or revenge overshadow the team performance. I want to see a motivated team who at the end will be celebrating 3 points gained with a game in hand. Forza Milan

Everybody in this thread is picking Zambrotta instead of Abate. I am opposed to this.

Also, some people have stuck with Flamini. I think Gatusso is not up his best (not even @ 50%). Given that I will like to have the midfield like the following:

PIRLO

FLAMINI AMBRO

PATO RONALDINHO

Of course, if SEEDORF is fit, we can put him in instead of FLAMINI depending on the situation.

BORIELLO is in teriffic form. Frankly speaking, I have never liked him before this season. I never thought that he has the game and written him off as our other failed striker GILARDINO. Boy, he has surprised me big time this season.

Nesta suffered a small muscular problem against Siena and was taken off as a precautionary. Galliani and Leonardo are confident for him to be available for the derby.

I can't wait for that match, will be a tough one.
Inter are not that great recently, but we are, anyways will be a hard fight in that game. A derby is always something special and I really hope we win this one and thrash Inter, they deserve to get beaten, Milan is the best team.
We also should have our revenge for the last time, I haven't forgotten that last derby and hopefully we can have that high win now.
We really need to win this match, would keep up our great form and confidence for the upcoming matches and that is important. Also it would get us even more closer to Inter.

Game of the season 4 us.
Ending Mou's record + closing the gap could give us a psychological edge over Inter & could give us a shot 4 the title.

Milan's result was nothing short of amazing but SerieA is having a shit period so I will judge the team after we face Inter & then ManU.
Is Oddo + Zambro injured ?
AM asking this 2 know if Abate + Anto took their place or just filling coz o injury.
Anto as expected by some of us is easily performing better than Oddo + Zambro while Abate is almost equal.
Us having a workable FBs could v meant the world 4 us.
Inter's biggest threat is the energetic Snejder & if we can shut him down then its game over 4 em.
