Really disappointed we didn't offload Adriano. Not sure (barring an injury to Bacca) how much time Lapa or Adriano can find.

You should be more disappointed we used our budget to sign Lapadula before offloading either of Bacca/Luiz Adriano.

Exactly Lapadula has been injured the majority of the time he has been here. I hope if proves himself but i'm worried at the moment. We cant afford to lose Adriano with Lapadula being a complete unknown at Serie A level.

I meant that after making the commitment to buy Lapa and not selling Bacca/Adriano we have a surplus of central attackers. We only need 2, since Niang can fill in during a crisis.

I'm not saying he's better than either of them. We barely know what he can do.

how was he?

Very aggressive, hard working & explosive. He's got a lot of hunger, kinda reminds me of D. Costa in that sense

But he's clearly still rusty & needs minutes + needs to adapt to a higher level of football. He lost quite a few balls yesterday but overall made a solid first impression
Give him time

Against bournemouth he is sluggish as fuck.

His performance resembles matri 2013. No hope for this guy.

I think too early to tell, but we can definitely have him try.

But shouldnt Honda be playing? At least from the start and then Lapuda to come in and regain fitness.

Yea he didn't look fit but he was pressing pretty actively and doing a lot of good movement off the ball which can't be said for Matri.

He is more di Montella than the pacey Colombian poacher. I saw his highlights from Pescara which are plentiful given the goals and the assists he had last season and I hope he does what he did with Oddo who is more like Montella in his preference for game play than Unai Emery.

Lapa needs minutes before proving himself, thats what is bad.
If he pulls out a great performance in such tight time
