Damn I want to be happy about this but I'm not... I've seen Destro play many times but I just don't see what's so great about him. I admit he's probably a step up on Torres but he just seems very ordinary. I'm not writing him off as I could be wrong but he'll probably mess with our formation too. Does this mean we'll play 4 2 3 1 with him up top? If so then I'll be a tad disappointed because I thought that Menez would play up top in that formation with Honda just behind him since we have Cerci for the right side. I'm dying to see Honda play through the centre. Someone help me here. Inform me of Destro's strengths. What's also puzzling is if we play 4 3 3 where does Menez go? If he goes to the wings he will be severely underutilized not to mention he'll take away valuable time from SES and Niang and maybe even Bonaventura. Not sure what to make of this move.

I hope we will not be paying any money on this guy. I would much rather play Pazzini and invest in a quality midfielder.

The only way for him not to end up like Torres is to score a couple of goals right away, which he has trouble doing at Roma, where he sure gets better serving.

20m is gross overprice. He's a tap-in baby (good positioning though). Not gonna make any difference for Milan at all. Osvaldo is better and costs nothing.

21 Million is too much for him.

I mean he is a good player but for 21M I would rather go for some one cheaper and invest in a quality Midfielder instead.

Roma paid 16 for him and now he is not needed there so he should be cheaper than 16 M not the opposite.

While Osvaldo is definitely more talented than Destro, he however is one of the biggest trouble-makers I've seen in football. He's an absolutely filthy player, he's so dirty and all he thinks about is himself and he's not even that good at all.

He's someone we really need to pass up on. He's been to what 4 different clubs and hasn't lasted more than 1 year anywhere, that's how badly clubs want to get rid of him.

Up until last week's derby, he has not played a single minute for 5 or 6 consecutive games, hence why him and his agent requested to leave
Check how many minutes hes played since october and then make comments like this one... he still has a goal every 105 minutes in the last 18 months (35 games and 17 goals)

Again, ridiculous claim.. how is he meant to score if hes not on the pitch? started 5 this season scored in each one of those games

I don't like his playingstyle. He is not a player that can create his own chances, and since our midfield is shit/average we need a player of those qualities. So rather keep pazzini than using money on destro, and buy a good midfielder with those money.

If the money was guaranteed to be spent on the midfield i would rather we spent it on the midfield, however we only seem to fork money out for strikers. So i want Destro, knowing that the money wont be spent elsewhere.
