Love Kjaer, but wasn’t good last season, and isn’t showing anything tonight to suggest it was a fluke… don’t think he’s at this level anymore

We could be working on patterns, tactics, passing structures...

This is the first time they've mentioned us being in the CL semifinal lol.

I know it’s a friendly but we desperately need a creative type in the midfield, people will say Reijinders is the guy but he’s more of a box to box type. RLC also a power runner, he will be a handy player when playing top teams and we have space. I’m worried that Pioli is trying to make a transition team that counters hard and defends in numbers. If this is what he has in mind he won’t be in a job for long.

I’d say it was a nice game. The chances were pretty equal, our level was the same as theirs. Not worried at all about preseason sloppiness and growing fitness for a team that hasn’t even all trained for a week together.

I think Pioli has said as long as he is here we will attack, and I think we’ve done that since he got here
