Milan have issued a statement insisting that Christian Abbiati won’t leave the club in January.
The goalkeeper has been heavily linked with an exit given that he has spent the last two years as reserve to Dida.
But the Italian champions have today claimed that the international will remain with them at the San Siro.
"Reports are suggesting that Christian Abbiati will be sold but that is not the reality of the situation," the outfit stated.
"Abbiati is not available for transfer. There has never been any contact or negotiations with any other clubs regarding a move."
Abbiati has been associated with a host of clubs over the last year but Milan have managed to keep hold of him.
Sampdoria, Arsenal and Palermo have all shown an interest in the highly-rated shot-stopper in the past.
While whispers over recent weeks claimed that Abbiati could move to city rivals Inter, in a swap deal with Turkish midfielder Emre.
