Great. Flamini would suit perfectly in our team. I just hope Carlo wont continue his saga with French players.

Yes, all italian media agree. Flamini has agreed a 5 year deal with Milan, it will be oficial in a few days. Even Cobolli Gigli has admitted Juve have given up.

I read it somewhere, the reporters asked Gigli: Will you sign Flamini, he responded with NO.

4m a season is massive!!!
Great news if we manage to pull it off though.

too much.

same as pirlo, seedorf, gattuso and other milan 'stars' are getting for a new young french player that people only talked about after milan-arsenal game (gorky gets 1m...). But since juve were offering 3 there really aint a choice... hopefully he'll prove his worth.

We over pay our players. Just reading through that list of what our team earns is INSANE!!

He's young but not new. He played spectacularly at LB when Arsenal went to CL final, showing his versatility. And this season he's been the perfect foil for Fabregas in the midfield. His workrate is phenomenal really. Gourcuff being a relative unknown when we got him is reason for his 1m. 4m a season is probably a lot still but considering what Juve were offering it makes sense, and its not too farfetched I suppose.

Really ?
That would b great.
And dont worry about the 4mil/year coz teams always pay big salaries when the players r free.
4 me his salary in not more than 2mil coz I think he is worse 8Mil , 8Mil we didnt pay.
If this is true , Milan staff just gained a point in my eyes.

if this is actually true this is amazing. I always wondered who we would ever get to replace gattuso, but the answer is here now. The perfect long term solution to gattuso.

Fantastic. Take emo's no.5 and give it to him.

Edit: Just realised just HOW long its been since we actually made a signing that i was happy about. The last one was Crespo, which admittedly struck a chord with me cos im a groupie, but before that, its hard to remember which one has really got me excited.
We didnt know much about Kaka when he came, so i would think probably this is the first since Nesta and Rivaldo's signings, apart from Crespo.

Great news!!!

This "seems" to be realistic, as this news is what could have prompted Gattuso to get a little irritated, thus starting rumours of his leaving Milan.

Good chance he'll be capitain next year, don't think he's going anywhere.

Why he should b Gatu's replacment ?
He can replace Ambro + Pirlo 2.
So make em compete 4 their spot or rotating all 4 isnt really bad.

If this is true then it's a great signing for us. He is the ideal midfield enforcer plus he is very versatile and can play a bit too.

We'll rotate all 4 surely. Pirlo gets competition, Gattuso+Ambrosini get rested and hence remain fitter longer. Its a win win situation for us. But lets wait for the confirmation.

You're right he's more versatille than Gattuso and would be useful in more positions in the midfield.

Almost like a Gattuso & Pirlo wrapped up into one.

It will be interesting to see how he's used/rotated in the squad.

If the deal is sealed it's a great move in every aspect of it, he is young, experienced and versatile.

I think he will be one the 11's starters. Gattuso and Ambro will fight for the other place as he has more creativity than both of them and doesnt lack the grit and determination either.

The news is also on transfermarkt

It says that Milan has offered a 5 year deal, worth 4 million euros per season. The contract will be signed and confirmed in few days. It also says that he refused Zebras, since they offered only 3 millions per year.
