He put in a superb performance yesterday. He can be the world class full back we lacked so long. For me it doesnt matter if he plays on the right or left, he is a very intelligent player he will find his ways on either flank, he can put a cross in with his left and his right and play trough balls. He couldnt find form last year due to not getting enough games to get confidence because of the injuries he had.

If one thing that he misses most of the time is aggressiveness in his play.

He often tends to get nervous but yesterday he showed that aggressivness, going in to every challenge and that is really encouraging. I just hope he doesnt get injured and builds from that.

After Balotelli's departure, De Sciglio might well be the best on-field player we have now and the most consistent. Abate certainly looks like an amateur in comparison. I guarantee you we won't hold on to him and he'll be gone next season. It's a given.

Abate and Mexes will leave next year on free transfers... unless some top team suffers a bad injury to one of its right-backs, they won't come looking for Abate. Plus Raiola knows that next season he can negotiate a better salary for Abate and bigger profit for himself.

Awesome player. Wouldn't surprise me if we sell him to real for 30 mil at the end of the season. Q logic.

if we want to attract good young players we need to keep hold of des...its imperative we need to build our foundations on the likes of these players..

Exactly, we are running out of targets to sell with all the loans and free contracts. You guys don't realise but even if we wanted, we cannot sell Torres, Armero and Van Ginkel end their loan at the end of the season, Pazzini, De Jong, Abate also end their contracts and might leave (Abate almost certain) and also the various Bonera, Mexes, Essien, Abbiati which might lower our total salary but don't bring lumps of cash for purchases. Our ticket sales are also down a lot and we don't have CL.

Unless Inzaghi does a miracle this year and gets a top 3 place to force B&G to improve the team, I wouldn't be surprised if El Shaarawy or De Sciglio are sold since currently they are the only ones with offers.

I wouldn't be surprised if G went after alves when his contract expires and sells DSG

that would be something that would piss me off. Normally I don't concern myself with this shit.. But that would push me too far

if el sharawwy manages to score around 10 goals and provide 5 - 6 assists next season, he is as good as gone. He will be sold for 35 plus million. In saying that, Ses may reject the proposal cause he is die hard milanista. Well, milan fans have no choice except to hope and pray he rejects all offers and stays with us. Des ? well i hope its the same case as SES but i fear G might try to force him to accept any incoming big money offer.

10 goals and 5-6 assists won't be enough for a 35mill offer. Look at Cerci ... 13 goals and 12 assists and was barely sold for 16mill + 2 bonus. Only some teams can spend big money and I doubt El Shaarawy will want to go to Russia.

Yup age and trust me, if he scores or assists in a couple of big games, say against jube and roma, i can guarantee that his value would shoot up to something around 40 odd mil particularly if we win those games.

Immobile didn't get sold for more than 20 mill, even though he's only 24 and was the top scorer of last season. Welbeck is 23, got sold for 20 mill and he had scored 10 goals and 6 assists last year, and a big plus he is English and was bought by an English team. Aubameyang had 21 goals and 16 assists and was sold for 13-15mill. Than you have players like Falcao that get loaned for 20 mill a year even though they are way older and coming from an injury.

Unless El Shaarawy can show that he can pull our team by himself and belongs with the very best, including shining in the NT, he won't attract big offers. A 10 goal and 5 assist season is good at best, but nothing extraordinary and as I said El Shaarawy is not interested to go to play in Russia.

You never know.. Market these days are crazy and unpredictable. Just take a look at BPL market there.
Somemore I am sure Shaarawy is more popular and marketable than Immobile; Shaarawy has been featured in lots of ads, what about immobile? Its not just about statistics that matters when it comes to buying players as the clubs also want to gain fans and profit.

But lets hope you are right, because I dont wanna lose him too :D
