And they should be able to hold posession which should be italy's goal anyway. They got an excess amount of posession midfielders and no real #10 type players (bar cassano who is a forward)

fuck if i was prandelli i'd play a 4 man with some combo of.... de rossi (lock), pirlo, palombo, montolivo, aquilani, ledesema, marcisio, mauri

probably for me.... de rossi, ledesma, pirlo, aquilani but you can mix and match depending.


second it's romania (no disrespect to Az). They shouldn't need pure destroyers v.

Dinho is almost as bad when he's playing in Milan this season. Maybe slightly better because of better movement in Brazil team... He needs to seek the ball instead of waiting for it to come to him.

Robinho is almost invisible, not a good game from him IMO.

TS is so calm and has a high confidence. Good display as always. His partnership with Luiz is impressive.

Neymar is a good player, but to much of a divewhore for my liking, we already have Robinho so no thanks to getting him.

André Santos isn't that bad as LB going forward...

David Luiz, :star:Thiago Silva:star: and Elias have been highly impressive.

DL stopped Pastore and Messi a couple of times each. Elias is good overall and TS is breath taking.

some count him out because Hulk apparently owned him. But you can't expect a player, doesn't matter which position, to always be perfect. Luiz is the real deal.

Hes no kid haha, hes 24 and plays CM for Corinthians. Good player, Pep wanted him last summer. Now i dunno how he is in the league but he looks good.

might do better in serie A. Main criticism on him is his pace.... but he' faster than seedorf/pirlo for sure lol

btw elias out of contract in summer... still not sure if he adds something flamini/boateng dont.

He's better at most things than most people. He's just a freak. Tonight is a case in point - how many other 37-year-olds are travelling half-way round the world for friendlies in the middle of a 50 game season?

Still dont think we can beat Bayern to Krancjar.

Elias is a bit like Ramires, think he is more complete than Ramires. He would give us better passing than both KPB n Flam but he would have less energy. So it depends how you want to play the midfield.

Adujar, Carizzo are the main other options i guess. They had Oscar Ustari, who was highly rated but i think he chose to play for Italy instead of Argentina [Not sure where he is now, maybe injured, all i rem that he as playing in la liga]

Ronaldinho-esque pace and acceleration. So don't want him here... Great technique, powerful shot, but overall he's not material for the biggest clubs IMO.
Premier league is the league that should suit him the least considering his attributes, but still managed to make some impact there. So he would probably excel in some good Bundesliga team. He would probably turn out to be good in Serie A, considering the tempo of play. But not in Milan, he's not the kind of player we need...

EDIT: Robinho is just awful today, even worse than with us. I always thought he was a little annoying prick who could never achieve great things, but now that he's playing in Milan, it's not amusing anymore...
