I support United, Milan, Liverpool and Real Madrid. United were the only club to win the title though so they're my favorite.

Lampard is pretty much Nocerino (and recently, Flamini) only so much better that I'm questioning why I made the comparison in the first place.

He would thrive with Balo, Monto and another creaty player.

Really exciting to see what Moyes does now at United, but i hope fans give him some time, and don't start bashing him if he doesn't win the title in his first season.

Obiviously i can see some chops and changes to the squad.
Certain players Sir Alex liked, Moyes may want to get rid off.
And he could have a completely different outlook on what players United need, in order to improve.

Is there some rule that im not aware of, were EPL central midfielders are obligated to play as attacking midfielders as soon as they transfer to Serie A?

Italian football is different to World Football. To paraphrase Joe Pesci in Casino, 'Those fuckers play football like a brain surgeon'. You know that skill that you need to play tiki taka? You need that ability to succeed in Italy. Lamps doesnt have it... Lamps is all abt running on to a lined ball to wack... it works in the EPL, it wont in Italy. He wud be worse than Ince.

He is a a very good passer of the ball, not spectacular enough to be called a playmaker, but still pretty damn decent.

Even though he's not impressive physically when defending, he's very intelligent tactically and positioning wise, and this is very important when playing serious Calcio.

Yes. He is decent. He has nothing on our Paul and speaking for myself... Id take a mid 20s Gerrard over mid 20s Lampard.

If you don't play him as the AM then he's a CM, which isn't particularly amazing at. As a CM he'd be a bit of a jack of all trades.

It's no dig at Lampard - he is/was a world class player, but his game is perfectly suited to the EPL and not really Serie A or La Liga.
