its clear things are getting better at milan. its good to see the tantrum throwing here has reduced as well.

The point in taking Maldini on is to help him grow and teach him. I don't think that's unreasonable for someone who gave so much to a club. I doubt he thinks he's presently the best person for the job

In Italy, TD is sum1 who helps with identifying and signing players... if Leo is to be TD, wots the point of an SD?

Whatever title they give him, it would be a step in the right direction if he got back into our management identifying talents. But I wouldn't think they hire two like you said. One is enough to run the sporting side of things.

Leonardo would make sense with his experience, familiar with Milan/Serie A and he isn't currently with a club. It will be pretty hard to hire someone away from another club right in the middle of a transfer window.

In an ideal world, I'd want G to give them both (M+L) tutelage in the role!

Wot is the role of a TD? to supervise the SD? If so... I want Leo as SD and Maldini TD

Just my opinion, but if Maldini wants a bigger role with no real experience, I would offer him technical director and Leonardo sporting director. Technical director oversees the entire sporting side, but sporting director is more hands on with scouting, identifying players etc. Maldini leaves the dirty work to Leonardo who knows what he's doing with his experience and Maldini can throw in his 2 cents and oversee things while learning as well. But if Maldini doesn't happen, it's not the end of the world.

Maldini will return when the time is right. There is no use in reaching for expectations as that will only result in disappointment or misunderstanding.


Witnessing the collapse of the Tang Dynasty holds good fortune. We have gone from socialism to capitialism. Having US influence means that there will never be doubt in whether or not we have bread. A doubt that was present this year that broke many of you on this forum.


That US investors are interested in the world football market; its predictable that the sport in the country will grow in popularity as a result. I project that the US will push hard to make soccer the most popular sport in the country by world cup 2026 especially considering the nfl is collapsing year after year.
