I would honestly get Rafinha and then concentrate on getting a fast winger if funds are limited.

He was good last year for Inter so we know he can perform in Italian football

Also guys we are still the same as last season except with a top notch striker. Our team still lacks dynamism, ability to transition the ball quickly in midfield and pace/ change of pace.

The current team is more likely than not to finish outside top 4 and then we will blame Rino.

The sad thing about this whole thing is we are 2 players away from pretty much competing for top 4. If we get Martial and Rafinha we should finish top 4

We are 4 players away from having an outside chance at the Scudetto. If we got SMS, Rafinha, Martial and Lozano we would have an outside chance at it.

Unless a top winger and mid come in we are probably still behind all 4 of Juve, Inter, Napoli, Roma. Hopefully it gets addressed in these last 10 days. Not far off.

I don't really agree that the money spent on SMS would be better spent elsewhere if the move itself was feasible within the realms of FFP. The truth is that in today's market it is rather difficult to get good bargain buys for proven or at least experienced players.

An upgrade is needed in MF, but there are few options that are significantly better than what we currently have for the right price. SMS is not only a significant upgrade, it would be the biggest statement signing of any club in the world. He would easily add enough quality to contest CL and improve our profile to a point that would once again make Milan a very attractive destination.

He's decent, until he gets injured. Not worth a 30m gamble. It has to be one of Rabiot or SMS for LCM. Anything less will be disappointing now.
