I think that Chelsea and Real Betis will make it through in group G. Real Betis have been playing really well so far this season, same with Chelsea. Liverpool will have to settle with being in the UEFA cup :D

PSV is a prime example of what happens when a team comes out of nowhere to make a name for themselves by nearly beating the Goliaths (in this case, Milan). They suddenly become hot property, and other teams pop out of the woodwork and lure them away with bigger paydays than what they're getting now. (In a lesser example, look at Jared Borgetti after the Confed Cup. Teams everywhere were clamoring for his services before he signed with Bolton.)

As a result, the PSV vehicle, while they still may have something left, has pretty much been stripped for its parts, which is a shame. For me, what marked the death blow was when their two Korean stars hit the road.

LOL...I just stopped off momentarily in the forza-inter.com forums and they have this pathetic banner atop the main page called "Home of the Champions." Fill in your own joke.

Granted :)

I can't stop thanking God for it ;)
And for all Italian clubs.Well done boys.
Especially Udinese, Oh God, that Iaquinta boy was amazing.
I kept on replaying his 3rd goal, not of Kaka's 2nd goal class...yet still think it's a classy goal.

What a great week for italian, and opposite for Spanish.
But what made me smile was Manure failed to score against Villareal, let alone beat them. What more...That troll-faced Rooney's got booked and send off...yeeepee :D:

I will be very surprised if Rooney won't be sent off in next year's WC. And unlike Zidane in WC 98, he will not make a grand comeback. And unlike Becks he won't win 06/07 CL with MU.

But wait, for that to happen, it means England will have to qualify first. Well, I prefer the Three Clowns squad not qualifying then.

Both English side, An inconsistent Liverpool will clash 100% highs Chelsea which presents the clear upheating atmosphere in and out for both teams. Chel$ki want revenge while The Reds expect much again the good display in European level.

Somewhere at Camp Nou, I'd wish Vicenzo Iaquinta shows his worth a look, make it gets well-known publicly to apply the finish in scoreline at Barca match, but too bad he is currently not on the list brought by the squad. Something has missed. :(

And positive trend I look forward to seeing Milan get to meet Schalke in convincing ways, definitely win a away game in hand. :)

The rest, you may go begin. ;)
