they defiently are the future of formula 1
Correct. Especially Alonso, no one had paid attention when driving Minardi but few 'eyes' admitted his talent by recruiting him to Benetton-Renault. (It's now 100% Renaullt)

how could you not notice him at minardi! soooooooo good looking! but it was a real shame that he wasn't special enough to do amazing things with the minardi car. though schumi always said that alonso was one to watch because he started out so young, only 21 i think!
You did notice him?
Well Minardi is as stepping stone for him to learn, to know, to manage, to formalize his skill and ability for up next stepladder to better team.

Schumi's brilliant; don't forget to look at that F2004 package are really impressive as well, better than last year's model.

it's just that this year's ferrari is still so far ahead! bar and williams and mclaren all thought they would have caught up by now but they haven't!
i think that even last year's ferrari could still contend for the title this year. why are the other team's SO far behind in technology terms?
Temporarily, the great challenge for Scuderia aren't Williams, or even McLaren, IMO...B.A.R are promising and improving this year, and you should extrapolate Renault to say at least. I would say, if they both keep consistency, certainly aiming for 2nd constructors.
Last model's Ferrari could still contend?Perhaps, but I won't gamble circumstances that other contenders are now steap ahead. All top teams but Ferrari are 'peeking' rift to take title'a authority for over years. Using the new one, F2004 is the right decision due to this season's regulations and one engine per weekend's rule.

how comes ferrari are the only successful team on bridgestone tires? it is clearly publicised that bridgestone have the edge over michelin and they did last year too so why don't theams like williams and mclaren consider changing tires? michelin were supposed to have the upper hand over bridgestone on the long hot races like brazil, australia and bahrain and there was a certain level of superiority but schumi still managed to win!
I tell you what, both Ferrari and Bridgestone interlace gainful/rewarding terms each other. There are four teams that using the Japanese, but Ferrari are coming up as main priority and both enjoying their long-together success. Since Malaysia GP where Schumi and Scuderia won, it's clearly to state that Bridgestone are now begin improving at hot track+low-temperature track (well-known before) they had success on this development. For instance, they introduce width-sole of front tyres.

The next question will come up is who will be the first driver either JPM or Raikkonen?
jazz_iz_4eva_milanisti said:
that's a hard question! i rekon raikonnen would have been prior to this season because he did keep relatively close to schumi in the drivers championship last season but so far he's been awful this season and he really is letting the few title chances he's going to get in his career slip away. i really rate him as a driver but i guess it's just the package that's behind him that is letting him down.
If it goes to McLaren, you can ask to their managing director, Martin Whitmarsh..what's wrong with their MP-19.
They left behind, negative progress so far from MP4-19 and you will see MP4-19B in the mid of season. Any hope for taking 2nd or 3rd constructors? And about JPM, let's just say he probably wouldn't like to be 2nd driver, or he soon will be obedient boy?
jazz_iz_4eva_milanisti said:
if schumi weren't around not only would the title be moremexciting but also i think montoya would have already won his first drivers championship
The fact tells you Schumi is still enjoying the race. Still hunger for victory. Or should he brake down his contract while it doesn't expires yet by the time he still enjoy his 'moment'?

And who will fill in Williams' seat?Australian's Mark Webber could be one of option to become Ralf's teammate
jazz_iz_4eva_milanisti said:
well, i have my doubt's about webber. he is always amazing in qualifying - a reali "one lap specialist" but races don't depend on one lap and he has a moderate consistency in the races but his points totals are never championshop contributing efforts. i don't think he's ready yet, not enough experience to have such a powerful engine behind him. though i suppose william's do NEED a driver so may end up buying him and give him a season to settle down. if webber does go to williams they will not be title contenders next season with him.
At least he could manage his Jaguar. An amazing qualifying displays of him should be counted as well..that's his positive thing. The cars unfortunately don't support what he needs.

ralf might be leaving to...i mean, getting kicked out. he constantly under performs. i really cannot think of any explanation for this! there's rumours about him going to toyota next season. i think his championship chance is long gone!
It's 50-50 about Ralf. He was demanding of what I said above, but Williams only offers US$ 3 millions-evaluating his inconsistency both in qualifying and racing. The negosiation finally stagnan, if Webber could persuade BMW (who wants to 'maintain' German driver) for helping negosiation, Ralf still might be at Williams.

one more thing on sauber: before bentetton became renault, sauber were considered to be the "best of the rest" team. why aren't they anymore? fisichella has so much potential to be a great driver but he went from jordan to sauber and he always seems to end up at underperforming teams where he can't show the likes of williams and mclaren and ferrari how good he is. i'd like to see him at williams next season.
Something I couldn't understand it either. They are supported by Ferrari engines, but the widht-sole of Bridgestone disturbs their performs on the track. It's cause geometry of suspension they use should change to new ones, makes C23' steering system gets harder. All I know Fisico's main goal is to drive Scuderia..but unfortunately he is less 'marketable' to sponsorship.
