As a matter of fact I just saw this thread and I'm clearly disappointed
from what I'm reading from some of you.
You can't possibly be serious and tell me that a guy like Scott,
who has been so useful and alive to this forum and filled us with knowledge that he obviosly does have, deserved something called "BAN".
Is it really proper for anyone to have their name muddied by other members here when they are not here to defend themselves.
I've seen so many fights on this forum and was involed in many which is
I guess the 'often' thing on not only this forum but any other.
Believe me, I know. I'm a member of 4-5 at least.
ACM-F members fights mostly 'cause they can't accept other ppl's
opinions, or are here only to provocate other members and yet don't have
none useful to say.
If Scott deserved it, then at least 40 of others did too.
Is it really proper that a promenant member is banned for expressing his view, when so many actually break the rules with these disgracegul comments and go completely unpunished?
We can't lose members like this, they are keeping this forum very alive!

NOW ABOUT THE NEW MODS.
Every forum has it's own rules, as it is the case with this one.

that you must feel too fortunate to become a mod. in such a short time.
I know, it's not all about posting and the time being here, but it's not
all about being pleasent only.
You gotta have it all, and if I could vote, Passion would get 1st one from me~!~
Don't take it personally BMW, I've always been straight up on this forum
which is exact reason why some of the members used to 'hate me'.
I never asked and never will ask for mods options, but I'm still happly coming here. I understand Scott completely for this and backing him up 100%!

To be honest, he should've been banned after those two incidents but we were too patient with him and he obviously didn't deserve it. Nobody's 'muddying' anyone's name, he's pretty much done it himself :rolleyes:

As far as the selection of mods is concerned, I find it quite hypocritical that he's objecting to appointing Besi as a mod since Tsar HIMSELF had given Besi his backing a while go:

well i made another thread but U closed it anyways:
What Yugo said is what I was getting at. How is it fair that Tsar is banned for what he said about the mod selection (something which is not against the rules). And people go completely unpunished for insulting him when he cannot even respond (something which is very much in breach of the rules) ?
Further more, is it not equally inappropriate that one of the new mods indulged in such disgraceful acts? Not a great way to start your moderating career when you consider how contravertcial that mods appointment is already.
The way I see it the only way the mods can prove that they are as unbiased and transparent as they say they are they have to be fair and balanced and do one of the following;

Punish those who have broken the rules accordingly, as they apparently did to Tsar.
Or, revoke Tsar's ban and accept the decission was atleast too extreme.

And Kyara, those reasons are poor. You could dig up 2 comments like that for any member here. And he apologized to the persons after words which you accepted so don't try and say that is why he was banned

But heh what do I know, i'm just a member who has been here for almost 4 years and posted 815 times.

Have you even read my post? Lo Tsar was not banned for his conspiracy theories regarding the selection of moderators. He was banned for continously hijacking on topic threads with this + for his insults. Kyara warned him once, I then warned him in the Materazzi related thread and the third time I gave him a one week ban.

On Monday he can come in here and give whatever explanation he wishes to, but he must clean up his act in these aspects.

It takes 2 or more to butt heads. It also can't be expected that a 17-year old has the maturity level of a 21, 25, let alone 30-year old. The forum shows a tendency again towards over-regulation + selectively disciplining those who dare stray from the popular beliefs, have almost everyone jump at them + dare defend the right to their opinion. Been there, done that + know *everything* about biased mods + admins. I stick up for Tsar because his contributions to the forum by far outweigh the 2 or 3 cases of 'misconduct' + inappropriate language, which btw should be seen + evaluated within the context they occurred.

Listen Kyara, I just want to bring up one thing. You have to let this trident thing go. It honeslt has nothing to do with anything and has absolutely nothing to do with this forum. The fact is that we were just having a little fun with our neighbours and for the record, we never mentioned that we were milan fans, let alone that we were form these boards. Lo Tsar's actions have been deemed neccesary of a one-week ban by the mods/admin---what anyone else thinks about the issue does not matter.

i think that the new mod things are a kinda dumb choice i have benn here longer than a lot of people although my join date sez last month i have been here since april we should'nt have a mod that is a push over and bans them because they dont like them we should have ones like passion that instead of banning them they jus scare them away in a few sentences...too many ppl are getting warned and banned now i think its stupid themods that have been newly appointed should read the mod guide it says "each thead must have LIFE" the mods are banning people who bring life into the forum.
