that game today was fucking legendary - i still think it only ranks as his second greatest innings ever, but even then it was BY FAAAAAAR the second greatest innings in the history of one day international cricket.

the first one that one in Sharjah in 1998 when he played through a sandstorm and fucked Glenn Mcgrath.

Greatest sportsman in the world.

Lara can try polishing shoes for a career.

Yeah, the sharjah game which he led to the final is my best as well..but i dont remember seeing mcgrath,..i think it was kasprowicz and damien fleming who was slaughtered...

And yesterday Sachin Tendulkar completes his 20th year of international cricket..:proud::proud:

Found this on Guardian. Try not to be biased, and vote according to your conscience.

And I do hope I haven't left any major player out.

I'll need to give that one some thought. As a casual cricket watcher, it's between Tendulkar, Warne and Ponting for me.

I don't claim to know as much about cricket as you lot, so don't bother jumping down my throat for mentioning the Australians in the same sentence as Tendulkar or anything.

You can't vote Tebow, and you can't vote "not Pirlo".

i wont for tebow :D i like him cause he is from my college( i dont know any other team in that sport and i dont care), i hate pirlo cause he starts every single game and sucks if i was the ref would have given him straight red card at the kick off

and milan always have a chance to win

u missed ronaldo :D but when sachin comes everything has to stop;)

I think shaun Pollocks name should be there...
Oh my. How did I forget. Not to justify the omission, but it speaks much about the kind of performer he was, though -- the intelligent craftsman who unobtrusively sweated buckets to get where he did. A handy bat, too.

Apparently crickinfo.com has no space for Brian Lara in their team of the decade. Andrew Flintoff makes both the odi AND the test 12 :proud: Not even going to say anything on this one. There are obviously 12 players> the world double record holder :o Just to be clear I could have lived with Tendulkar and Ponting ahead of him

I don't think he'll make the ODI team -- average 37 in the decade -- but he has a fair shout in Tests. However, I wonder who you'll drop from the Test side? I think the safest solution would be to drop either Dravid or Kallis, since both basically will do the same job in batting.

Haha. Panicstan.
It's official, Mohomad Yousef is the most delusional captain in test match cricket history!

My Indian tutor started an argument with an Australian student over Muralitharan today. It was outstanding.

Anybody watched the Australia v Pakistan semis? Wow, what a match.

WHAT A MATCH.

Pak made 192, Australia were always gonna find it hard and at one point it was 48 from 17 balls. Then Michael Hussey showed what a special cricketer he is and pulled off the chase. His personal contribution was 60 from 24 balls. Phenomenal match.

Go India :D
