What happens with CL/EL spots for EPL since an English sides will win each now?

The EL winner gets CL, I understand. But if Chelsea win does their CL spot go to 5th place in EPL or not? Arsenal win then 5 English clubs go but not sure if Chelsea win means the same. Instead do they just get an extra EL spot for 7th (Wolves)?

Did Serie A get a 5th CL spot when Milan and Inter won the tournament, and qualified to CL through the league campaign as well?

Of course not. Why would it be different in this case?
It's the norm.

The allocations of spots are only messed with when the winners did not qualify through the league campaign.

A better question would've been what happens if Tottenham and Arsenal win CL and EL and finish outside Top 4? (this is no longer possible)
The answer is that the 4th placed team would've been stripped off their spot, because a nation is allowed only 5 at most.

Thanks for clarifying

I figured it was only if the winner won and didn't get a spot in the league. But I do seem to remember cases where it passed a spot down to the next team in the league for EL, if 5 spots were taken for CL then there's only 1 team - 6th place - for EL.

Liverpool resting their title hopes, on a Brighton team that's safe from relegation no matter the result.

Proper fucked.

Think liverpool should be more worried about the visit of wolves

They've been taking points off the top 6 all season

Epl was not this strong during Mancinis time.

So what.

And the Mancini title was probably more memorable

Strength of opponent is one of several factors in selecting GOAT tier candidates

Congratulations Shitty

Juventus, PSG and City are basically by default winners at this point.
At least La Liga is a two horse race

How on earth are City more default winners than Barca?

This. It was close, City were what.. 10pts behind at one point? Could've gone either way. La Liga, nobody was catching Barca this year nor any year since Real last won.

Betting my life savings on a quadruple next season

Will they win CL?

Congratulations City. Never expected it to go this close. It's extremely impressive that City were almost as good as last season but Liverpool were so close.

Now for Milan to join them in the CL, be in their group and lose 8-0

How is what I said confusing?
La Liga = 2 horse race
Serie A = Juventus league
EPL = Pep's bought title

How is La Liga a two-horse race? Only Atletico ever challenged Barca this season and fell away a good number of weeks ago. Same as last year. Year before, Real won.

EPL is also a two-horse race if you say La Liga is. Yes, they stormed to the title over Utd last season but this time they won by 1 fucking point.

I agree Juve/PSG dominate their league - with the exception of Monaco winning Ligue 1 - but you can't say EPL is bought by Pep and not close. Liverpool also spent. Same with Utd, Chelsea, Arsenal etc, and still has Tottenham 3rd.

Unless he buys Messi or CR, I doubt he's gonna get to CL final. League trophies can be bought, CL is harder.

You might get someone giving it a go from time to time but it's basically real or Barca (in the last decade anyway)

The EPL is basically Manchester City.... c'mon it's not even an argument. Chelsea, United, Arsenal just aren't on their level. Even Pool is a notch below. They have infinite squad depth. Fuckin Mahrez has been bitching for playing time ffs

Liverpool have been selling their best players like Coutinho and Suárez... meanwhile City keep collecting the best players. I could see them separating from the pack even more.
