you can see my question in the thread title. Let me begin:

Philip Cocu:
Great defensive midfielder! Always liked to keep it simple but effective.

Jari Litmanen:
Yeah, not retired yet, but the guy is nearly 41 years old...
Always loved him, excellent player!

Luc Nilis:
Found this name as recently as yesterday and I'm highly impressed after watching some videos about him. Van Nistelrooy, the real Ronaldo and our Mark Van Bommel regard him as one of the best players ever. Unfortunately, he had to retire at the age of 33 after breaking his leg in his third game for Aston Villa.

Krassimir Balakov:
Had the joy to witness the Bulgarian every week when he was playing for Stuttgart. What a playmaker. Would have been worthy of wearing our number 10 shirt!

Lothar Matthäus:
World-class player, fodder coach!

Austin 'Jay Jay' Okocha. Well, technically he isn't retired as he's going to feature in the newly formed Indian League alongside other stars like Crespo.

Gheorghe Hagi. Fell in love with him while watching my BEST World Cup ever, USA '94, as a tiny kid. :proud:

What's similar about these two legends apart from their national/global legendary status? They are both Turkish citizens, and the Turks LOVE them. Okocha even got a pet Turkish name from his time at Fenerbache. :star:

Then, the immortal Pele rates the both of them HIGHLY. :star:

Anyway, Zidane or Riquelme. By far. Preferably in a team with Rui Costa, Pirlo, Seedorf and Kaka. Just an entire team of No 10s with Nesta, Maldini and Sheva really.
