selling Rami would be good, i think as a sub Rami is a very good player.

But we have lots of CBS, and Zapata is at least younger. Plus Zapata can be good too with a smart player beside him.

Id sell Rami, we could get a few million surely.

When he keeps creating clear scoring chances for the other team by passing the ball to their players, you cannot say he can be good with a solid partner.
Then again, since Bacca is coming it made difficult to move Zapata away.

That's my biggest problem with this transfer. But i suppose nobody wants Zapata or Alex right now.

Zapata is not getting sold now that Bacca is coming, no argument about it. It's possible that being in the same team as Zapata was part of the offer to Bacca.

I really liked Rami with Seedorf, but with Inzaghi he was like a fish out of water. Don't know if 3.5 mill makes justice to his value, but we had to drop a few defenders and if we didn't sell him this year, it would have been harder to get rid of him next year (2mill salary), considering that he'll already be 30 in December, plus we need to get some youngsters in the team.

If the defenders that we buy are also 30 year old, then I'll be pissed.

Wasn't a great CB but feel kind of bad about him being sold after he has shown us how much he wanted to come here and how much he enjoyed being part of the club....that too at our lowest point.

I at least hope we paid him back his 500 k that he paid out of his pocket to join us :fp::lol:
