Signing Van Bommel is showing no trust in Ambrosini and Strasser (as our anchorman options). I don't like the idea of a DM coming in when none is going out. That would do no good to Strasser's development at Milan. Strasser may be our long-term solution for this spot.

He would be a top class signing imo.

Give him a 1 and a half yr contract

Beast in midfield . Doesn't matter if we have 6 mfs atm. He is better than any of them as anchor in midfield. Will improve the team - doesn't matter how old he is - he is still top class

We don't need him not because he is shit but because 100per cent Gattuso Ambro and even maybe Dorf will be here next season.
At least one of them season next.
He is still good enough to command 2year contract so everything we don't need.

i HATE van bommel, really he is a bitch, just a bitch. He kills everyone as fast as he cries like a baby when someone touches him.

I really hate him.

I would be uncomfortable seeing him destroying innocent serie a players. This guy is an awful player.

The only reason I say no to him is age .. Don't want another champion here for 3+ years after being 33. But Yepes is doing a god job after coming here at 34 and maybe a 2 year contract won't hurt.

But nope for personality issues .. LOL .. 75% of u guys were also saying no to Zlatan/Robinho/Cassano and even Prince cos of 'personality' disorders.
Over half the players in our squad are players u will like if they r in our side and hate if in the other side. If VB ever comes here, u guys will be posting signatures of him breaking rival legs just like the Zlatan hospitalizing Materazzi signatures floating around ..

this is a fucking nightmare!!! why would we sign this asshole???? we've done sooo well in the market, but this would put a huge dark spot on it. this guy is a top-class asshole, I guarantee he gets into fights with ibra, starts shit with other players, and ruins this great atmosphere we have here.... this is truly AWFUL.

I don't usually agree with Milan signing 32+ players but Van Bommel is a very good player and is perfectly suited to Serie A.

I always thought ibra kinda hated mvb?

If he does not im dissapointed cause mvb is actually the person i disslike most in fotball. Cant stand him and it would be sad to c him in Milan colours imo.

He's not a backwards step, it's not like we're selling Pirlo and replacing him with Van Bommel and it's not like he's coming here to start every game. Gattuso and Ambrosini are too old to play every game, Flamini doesn't have the discipline to play as a anchor man, so somebody like Van Bommel would be perfect backup.

well, he is surely better than Gattuso & Ambro, but is it really neccesary to sign yet another overpaid soon-to-be 34 year old thus closing the door for some younger midfielder for next season? :rolleyes:

Imagine that we start next season (2011/12) with Ambrosini (35 in May 2012.), Gattuso (34 in January 2012.), Van Bommel (35 in April 2012.) along with Pirlo (33 in May 2012) and (God forbid :mad:

) Seedorf (36 in April 2012.) :proud:

That would be officially the oldest midfield in football history :head:

oh, and yeah - as many have already pointed out, he is a world class douchebag and one of the most hated football figures in my book.

LOL @ the losers who know nothing about Van Bommel. He is (still) a fucking class act! He would be an immediate improvement over Ambrosini, Gatusso and Flamini. I'm not really liking this move, because of his age, but don't say he disturbs the dressing room! FUCK NO. Van Bommel is a real professional. Long time captain of Bayern. He is the captain of the Dutch team and was the captain of PSV in the past. In many ways a motivator like Gatusso. His footballing skills are much better than any of our defending midfielders. He's much more alround.

Yepes is much older than Bonera & he is performing as a world class CDs.
With Al am not worried no matter who he signs or how old coz the guy is gifted with gigantic balls & he wont favor oldies over youth coz he aint no coward, Anshit is gone you know.
Am not even worried about our young players getting a chance coz again this coach i able to rotate this team like no other.
VanB is better the majority of our midfielders so if we can get him for cheap then do it.
I still cant trust Flams ,Pirlo or Gatu to partner Ambro but imagine the latter next to Van fucking Bommel :star:

About our young guns , I believe if we play VanB-Ambro duo will provide a more needed defensive ability & both with acceptable passing skills which will free the third spot for a more attacking minded player which could be Merkel or Urby.

Not a bad signing at all. Experienced (maybe a bit too old now but we'll see), aggressive, good leader. Also dislikes Madrid which is a nice quality in any player.

Think this will work out okay for Milan.
