Aug. Storari: "Genoa welcome destination '
16.12.2009 15.04 by Matteo Calcagni Article read 239 times

Marco Storari, for a good part of the championship course, was the goalkeeper of Milan. The injury came in inconvenient time, giving the green light to Dida who has managed to regain the confidence of the environment and the jersey number one: the return of Have the competition for places is just too turned on and could Storari change clubs since January. The Genoa seems to be very interested and, therefore, questioned TMW Claudio Vigorelli, Prosecutor of the Far defender, to find out more: "So far I have not heard yet rossoblù, surely if Amelia should go, Genoa would be a welcome destination in light of the results of the club Liguria. Requests? Someone in Italy hath been facing, even though Mark has many admirers abroad. It is certain that with the return of Abbiati spaces are reduced to a flicker. "

"Leo's choices are going to make the first victim, Marco Storari. As mentioned yesterday by our editorial team, the Rossoneri goalkeeper is followed by Genoa, but also abroad for admission of his attorney. The insistence of Leonardo to bring the 36-year Dida, out of contract, between the posts as the holder led Mark to look for another accommodation. With the return of Abbiati, Storari could see his chances to take the field reduced to a minimum. Storari is not Inzaghi and Gattuso in the dressing room Rossoneri, but has the merit of having prevented the sinking in Milan darkest moment of the season. AC Milan can not afford to lose him, not for matters of the heart, but for the precise technical values between the goalkeepers Rossoneri."

I love what they say at the end...very true, he saved us a lot of points during our dark begining.

Genoa, he insists Storari

18.12.2009 09.35 by Antonio Vitiello

Despite the status of gait, the relationship between Genoa goalkeeper Marco Amelia (27), and their coach Gaspeini seem completely deteriorated. The owner Enrico Preziosi throws water on the fire, but according to the latest market news - carrying over from ********** - the Genoa continued the backroom negotiations of the Milan goalkeeper Marco Storari (33), past the last rung of the hierarchy Rossoneri after injury . Dida took his place and Leonardo will give him confidence. Yesterday, the staff genoano there was another meeting to assess the situation of the extreme Milan defender.

If We sale out Storari we will be in Big Trouble

Starari is our 3rd choice GK wen everyone r healthy. Dida, Abiatti both of em are better at thier best. Sad if Marco is leaving as he is a very likable player and saved us a lot of embarassment in the first few games where he even was the man of the match in 2 of em. But with Dida and Abiatti fit, it's a shame if a keeper of his quality ( he's better than many Seria A starting keepers) is not getting a minute of playing time.

Wen Dida's contract expires in June that saved salary could get us Marchetti. We can add Astori or some young talent on some loan again as a sweetener. This season I'll be happy with Dida and Abiatti now they r back.

If Marco goes and if we can add him and cash for a player like Criscito or Bochetti, I will be very very happy cos we need one of thoese 2 players now and in future than Marco. But if it's just cash, FU !!

Easy there, Grasshopper. I can't blame Marco for wanting first team action but it was his own stupid act (the scorpion kick attempt) that landed him on the bench to begin with, and his departure has nothing to do with sacrifice. And he is certainly not a Milan legend by any means.

Nope, Storari is our second choice right now. Abbiati is third until he actually plays in a game again.

I'll be greatly pissed if by may of next year, when we face Genoa, we're trailing 2-1, and we just need one point to either win the scudetto or qualify to the CL...and he does the scorpion to a wonderful shot that would've otherwise gone in.

The Genoa increasingly interested in Storari
21.12.2009 12:53 Stephen Maraviglia

As anticipated in recent weeks by MilanNews some time talking about Storari and Genoa, a wedding far from impossible. The Rossoneri goalkeeper, was able to replace an excellent former holder, only to get injured and pave the way for Dida, prepared and opportunistic as the best in the middle of Inzaghi. Now that is given Abbiati's return was imminent and Nelson returned to its former glory, becomes even more difficult race for the No.1 jersey. Leonardo does not seem willing to undermine his countryman out of contract though, so few will be opportunities for showing off here tick Genoa. Amelia at loggerheads with Gasperini, seems far from imminent return to the owner, the shoes over the years, does not offer full warranties, makes its way so that the hypothesis Storari increasingly credible and workable. Hard to imagine now what formula could possibly land in the lagoon (loan or outright purchase), the fact is that they think of Mark rossoblu to lock their doors already january. Now the ball is at Milan that will study the how and when.

If we sale Storari without making benefit from the deal "and here I'm talking swapping with Domenico Criscito" I'm going to ******** Egghead and Co.

well, Genoa fans would be the ones with even more head-banging to do if they actually agree to give Milan an option on Criscito while getting Storari in process... That's just mad.

I don't want Bocchetti that much, but I would like to see Criscito into the deal.

IMO Storari is an underrated goalkeeper. Though, if AC Milan is planning to sign Marchetti or Kameni, I could live with his departure. Though, we need a backup, not sure if Abbiati wants to remain as backup.

You posted this story already. Which leads me to ask, why are you getting so worked up over it?

I have some doubts about your analysis and revision method, if you read well the previous posts and the last post are all following the chain of this rumor and get the update situation.

I worked out in every aspect here no exclusively for Storari case , though, if we consider to sale Storari "Bad Idea for this period time with no replacement and with revision of Goalkeepers' history and prone" we have to bring player that occupy the Milan's need position with class player like Criscito.

I hope i answered the question.

By the way, oh forgot it no need to ask you ehh

If a good offer comes in for Storari I would take it and run, don't rate Abbiati either, dida is the best goalkeeper at the club and he isn't even that great anymore

What? When did that happen?

Just hours before our match against Roma back in October. Storari decided to attempt the scorpion kick after a training session that day, but botched it and suffered a thigh strain. Needless to say, he was a late scratch for the game and was on the injured list for three weeks.
