Thank you for telling me what's going on. My head feels better now, it was far from being in peace.

verdi had his first game back after the injury . we won 3-2... hopefully that explained his absence from our first team... i want him to be dinho/pato's sub for the season and definitely think he can do it. glad to see him back and healhty and hope to see him on the first team squad for our game in week 2

He's listed in the primavera squad.

Before people get over themselves, he still can play with the first team.

The question is with Ronaldinho-Ibrahimovic-Pato and Robinho possinly as a sub or Starter how much playing time is he going to get?

Or maybe he'll be the sub to when Inzaghi's gone.

It's a good thing we got Ibra and Robinho, so now Verdi can develop without any pressure. Let's just face the fact that he simply isn't ready to play in our first team. This year he can work on his body, adjust to this change, maybe get a few minutes in the first team and next year he can take the next step.

verdi scored for the italy u-19s:star:

Awesome. Best to keep him in primavera this year maybe one or two matches he can come on as sub or start if we have injuries. Main thing is he needs to be physically fit.

Hope next year he flirts in first team more.

I have high hopes from players like him Albertazzi Merkel Fossati

his goal midweek v. latvia u19

it's at 1:55. He's #17

He also heads one in @ 0:59 but it was called off. I'm almost 100% positive he assists first goal too.... looks like he's playing support striker role. Baggio/Del Piero role. Classic italian #10

great find, :star:
Yeah I believe he assisted the first goal (think FIGC site also confirmed it too in the match report) and I also think he made another assist in the 3-0 win over Faroe..
From the way he's been used, think Verdi along with Carraro(number 10) are the most important players for the u19 squad, which is good as International matches can help Verdi grows

hope he can keep it up!!

The international matches for Italy are helping him in the growth and it's good that he's important for them. I hope he will play in the national team in some years and not only the U-19 etc teams. If we give him a chance in our first team at Milan and he proves his worth there then I'm sure he will be in Italy's nt in the future.

Verdi played 90 full 90 minutes today when the Italy u-19 beat Croatia 3-1, Luca Girighelli also played the whole game, while De Sciglio comes on as a sub in the second half..

Verdi didn't score though today

I think Overall Verdi played well in three games, he is a sure starter in the team along with Carraro.

ok kewl. i'll take your word for it. i dont get the games where i'm situated ya know. glad to know he played well. he looks up for opportunities to impress. i keep remembering when he scored in that pre-season friendly before he got injured. the goal was a major confidence boost for him cuz afterwards he seemed more keen to perform and get onto the ball. his development, along with that Adria Carmona Perez is probably crucial to milan cuz, i would assume, that our future formations would include these two...my dream would be if they line up alongside paloschi in a 4-3-3 with fossati, calvano and merkel behind them.
