I don't know why the management is waiting to renew his contract. He only has 2 more years n he could buy out the last year of his contract...even if he wants a raise...hell he deserves one.

Great news. I recall Pirlo being heavily touted to be the next great Italian midfielder when he was 18. I am glad he matured into the player he has wearing Red and Black. The fact that he came from Inter makes it much more gratifying. His World Cup 06 performance was simply brilliant and put him into a class that is characterized as World Class.

If Pirlo plays out this current contract at his current pace, he will enter the annals of the Rossoneri as a legendary player of this era.

the transfer season may have been disappointing but looks like the management is looking towards the future w/ the extension of kala and pirlo's contracts...i'm feeling optimistic

Thats what management must do.
Though didnt do well in transfer season at least we keep our stars

i think our management did good to extend his contract, hes becoming a well known player around the world and he is a very good talented player. if we would of sold him we would have had a gap in the midfield, since vogel left and ambrosinis hurt AGAIN

at least were starting to use our brains a bit, next nestas contract

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson is considering a fresh move for AC Milan midfield ace Andrea Pirlo.

Milan directors are convinced Ferguson is ready to try again for Pirlo, having made enquiries over the summer immediately before and after the World Cup.

Pirlo only signed a new contract with Milan last week, but ControCampo this morning says that Ferguson has the midfielder top of his shopping list and hasn't ruled out making an offer as early as January for the World Cup winner.

people on this forum want sneijder. we don't need him because milan already have Pirlo. sneijder will have same problems Pirlo has now. Pirlo need more strong defending midfielders behind him to shield him, so he can focus again on passing and he will be great again. sneijder will have same problems if you position him before defense like Pirlo. our defense must focus on defending and not supporting Pirlo. that is why you need 2 extra players for supporting Pirlo on midfield, one is gatusso the other can be someone else.
sneijder No! pirlo yes!
