iirc he was great as a second striker for Lazio, so losing Silva for him would cover that wing spot and Silva’s back up striker position. I personally think playing Keita on the wing almost as a supporter striker to Higuain would be lethal.

FYI Bakayoko is an ace when it comes to set pieces. He’s very good at defending them.

That’s also due to personnel reasons, I’m sure tactics will be much different this season if we make the correct signings.
Biglia, Calhanoglu, Locatelli, Suso and even Bona (to a certain extent) are passers. We have no out and out midfield destroyers ala Rino Gattuso or even a cover for Kessie. Bakalyoko on loan is not bad. If he can find his Monaco form, he'll be useful here at the very least. Remember we had a certain Gattuso in our world class midfield of 2002-2007. Such players are needed to play a role and free up our more creative players.
Left winger should be the priority now and I believe another midfielder will arrive.
