You can't really blame Leonardo if he doesn't get things done the right way under those circumstances. He only has 6 days left with limited funds.

Paying for SMS the same amount that has been paid for Bale, Pogba, Mbappe hurts but at the same we will need to make sacrifices to get to top 4. Once we are top 4 we can attract all top names again.

Also, that’s a hell of a lot of chips on the table for one player if you believe all of the exits are tied to clearing a path for one player and promising more cuts if this plan doesn’t deliver.

Elliott also hasn’t invested a dollar in Milan’s market. They injected 50M to stabilize Milan’s finances, but thus far Leonardo’s moves have been neutral. Basically, everything has followed the Elliott takeover model- Stabalize, clean house, position the club for re-sale.

Luckily, Leonardo has done brilliantly so far, but I’m really doubting there will be any major capital available for transfers.
