Seeing SES play that way makes me so angry at Galliani and the chorus of idiots cheering on the sale :fp:

Oh noes he's not going to win the golden ball...he must be shit then

It's this same kind of attitude today towards players like Bacca and even Suso or Jack :head:....Then they go off to another team and ppl start wondering how come they're so good.....it's because some players fit a certain ROLE and only that role.....and within that role, they are actually quite good :mb:

Some players are better in certain roles, some players are better in certain teams (which might not be Milan).

There are many variables which play a factor. Playstyle of the player in relation to the team, playstyle in relation to the league, do you vibe with your teammates on a playing level, do you vibe with them on a personal level, do you like the country (weather, food, area etc), do you vibe with the management and their direction etc.

It's not to say that SES would be as good as he is today at Roma if he stayed at Milan. Sometimes a player needs a different environment for any reason (or even no reason at all) to find a spark. Could be football related or non football related (being depressed and a coke addict).

Selling SES was absolutely the right move. He was found out by teams, seemed unhappy and injury prone, regressed far beyond his initial level and seemed like he wanted out too. And it's not even like he's a key player at Roma either now, he's serviceable and would be no more than serviceable at Milan either.

Bacca is trash and will always be trash. Our strikers may be trash too but it doesn't change the trashness of Bacca. Suso I agree. Jack is one in a dozen, who cares if he stays or goes.

Where are all the smartasses laughing at Serie A?

Roma could have been in the final easy.
And it's Roma, 3rd team in the league.

Like i said, Roma are the only team in Serie A besides Juventus that actually have a good project going on.

Very impressive, and a little bit sad that they didn't go trough. Started watching the game as a neutral, ended up cheering for Roma more hard than i did for Milan all season long

Bacca has 15 goals and 5 assists this season.
For a Villarreal that's 6th in the table

He started off as a sub behind Bakambu and is now a starter
If you think that's trash that's fine but he's better than anything we have and most strikers in SerieA easily.... including Belotti.

Bacca is a role player. Give him a chance and it's more likely than not that he scores. He could have had more than that 15 goals if he was in Kalinic's position. HE FELL OUT WITH MONTELLA. The same Montella that asked for Kalinic. Under Mijalovic there were no problems.

We already own him...and we already have much worse players.
Bacca has been a consistent scorer in every team he has played in.
If he came back and we tossed out Kalinic, it would be an upgrade

Didnt know where to post this... since he was a boss at UEFA:

"A little trickery" was employed for the 1998 World Cup draw to ensure France and Brazil did not meet until the final, disgraced former Uefa president Michel Platini has claimed.

The French hosted and won their first World Cup 20 years ago, beating Brazil 3-0 in the final in Paris.

Former France captain Platini was on the tournament's organising committee.

"When we organised the schedule, we did a little trickery," he told radio station France Bleu Sport.

"France-Brazil in the final, it was the dream of everyone.

"If we finished first in the group and Brazil finished first, we could not meet before the final."

He laughed as he went on: "We did not spend six years organising the World Cup to not do some little shenanigans. Do you think other World Cup hosts did not?"

Brazil and France were the top teams in the Fifa rankings heading into the tournament and were among the eight top-seeded teams.

Two days before the draw took take place, world governing body Fifa announced that holders Brazil would be allocated to Group A while France were in Group C.

It meant that if the two teams finished top they would be on opposite sides of the draw for the knockout stage.

Both made it through to the final at Stade de France where two goals from Zinedine Zidane and another from Emmanuel Petit gave the French a famous victory.

Platini and former Fifa counterpart Sepp Blatter were found guilty in 2015 of ethics breaches over a 2m Swiss Franc (£1.3m) "disloyal payment".

Platini was given an eight-year ban from all football-related activities - later reduced to four on appeal.

The 62-year-old has always maintained his innocence and in January it was reported he had taken the case to the European Court of Human Rights.

2000£ for a flight.

Just fly to East Poland or Krakau for cheap and then drive to Kiev.

Can't believe it's been 11 years since Athens and can't believe it's Liverpool who got to a CL final sooner than us. Anyway, hope they win it.

It's Madrid's final to lose. I think an inferior Liverpool team will have too much energy on the night. Klopp will be key to keeping their intensity high and sustained. Their fans are also the 12th man.. as we know all too well.

Im watching the game with 10+ Liverpool/Real fans.

I'm sitting very quiet during the banter :( but I'm sporting the Milan shirt though.

Fuck every other team in the world. Forza Milan!

Good luck to both European giants playing. This is what a CL final should be like. 17 CLs between them. Finally a team with actual CL DNA are playing Real in the final!

Fuck UEFA
Madrid shook. But if Liver keeps this up they'll get gassed pretty quick.

Liverpool are the better team so far. They have that midfield locked down, Real's forwards aren't getting any balls.
