Imagine having a new majority owner who has money, as well as Li in the background who also has money. That's like having two owners and more money than a single owner.

How can anyone on this forum still be mad at Li? He's playing 4D chess this entire time to make the club super rich.

for those that dont know baseball, the owner of the cubs brought the team to winning the 2016 world series. The cubs hadnt won a world series since 1908.

After Yonghong Li didn't pay the €32M for the capital increase, the ownership wants to hurry up the agreement with the new shareholder in a very short time. The club is currently working towards this direction, and soon there could be updates. [@AntoVitiello]

Milan couldn't afford computers anymore under Li so Fassone needs to hand write a letter to Elliott asking for the 32m capital increase. It should arrive in 2-3 weeks. Fassone wanted to send the letter with express shipping, but Li couldn't come up with the money.

Very important news on the future of Milan. The Ricketts family statement has arrived, confirming the interest in joining the Rossoneri company.

Here is the text:

"The Ricketts family (not just Tom) is interested in acquiring a controlling stakeholder in AC Milan, while Tom is the reference person, the whole family and the entire family's financial resources are involved in this affair, just like the owned by the Cubs The Ricktts family brought a championship to the Chicago Cubs through long-term investments and been great club directors, bringing the same approach to Milan (there would be no quick changes but long-term investments to ensure lasting success ) ".

Smartest thing Li can do right now is sell 100%, take the money and go into hiding. I suspect he owes some people a lot of money. Not just Elliott

I dont't know anything about baseball, don't even know the rules. Hope these guys know what they're doing. Give me a good mercato, stability and stadium and I will love them forever

Question is, why does this Ricketts family want to buy AC Milan?

It's great that they got the Cubs to win after so many years, but that's an american sport in america. Would he have the same long term mindset with football in Europe?

When he bought the Cubs, they rebuilt the team. First thing he did was hire Theo Epstein (who ran John Henry's Red Sox, alos Liverpool owner) to run the sporting side of things. They haven't looked back since. The stadium and neighborhood around the stadium is renovated/being renovated as we speak. It's like a 5 year project.
