Worth watching in HD? Need to manage my 3rd world bandwidth.

I'm not an HD addict/expert, but it is really good looking.

Legendary. :star:

Have you seen montage of heck?

Of course. We haven't discussed it here? Was a good movie. My personal feeling was that it showed honestly how much of a heck our beloved singer was. Which meant that nobody really wanted to live with him and he only wanted top live with drugs. Other people digested it differently tho.

How did you percieve him through it? What did you make of the doc?

Also watched Liberation Day. Was ok. Maybe the North-Korea topic drives up the expectations and it's sorta normalised so there wasn't anything surprising. Was more about Laibach than NK too, I guess. At least for me.

NK deadly dictator by Frontline was much more interesting in regards to NK politics and shit.

I watched this documentary - Burden of Dreams
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0083702/

It's about the chaotic production of Fritizcarraldo in Amazon jungle. They had problems with war, diseases and Kinski acting as a major douchebag all the production. At some point in the film, Herzog says a local offered himself to murder Kinski for him, and he only declined cause he needed him to finish the movie

This was in My Best Fiend (1999)
Mein liebster Feind - Klaus Kinski (original title)
.

I haven't laughed at a film as much for a long time. Not that it's actually funny, but just trying to think what these 2 lunatics did together is so funny to me.

i don't think so
this was heavy...suddenly an entire cobain is dead hype rises...i was happy to have rage atm, pearl jam, faith no more + many others to fall back on
cobain was the bomb, mis him a lot, the development after 'Unplugged' was going to revolutionize the grunge genre

he was just a normal kid (with different thoughts) who made good music and liked herion, iggy pop, nick cave...survived herion, he could have done the same
in the docu you can see him change through the years depending on his heroin, imo courtny love was THE destroying factor
ffs she even did heroin while being pregnant

she made a great song tho

Frontline; Myanmar's Killing Fields. Heavy viewing. Act of Killing was so surreal that it made it easier to digest. This hits really hard with it's realism.

Into the Inferno. Herzog on volcanos. His narration is probably my favorite. DPRK part was bit of out of vibe even if very interesting. Recommended in HD for the magma show.

Interesting story. Very interesting, but the directos angle wasn't my fav. Could've done it better.

Nope. Looks like no-one has seen it? Where did you catch it?

Came across it on 1337x site... it seemed interesting. Dled it. Like I say, I liked it. Brand new info to me... didnt know this world existed

I agree with the following review...

Well made movie with an interesting topic. While i brought am insight in extremistic and violent content censorship it left out how US standars in erotic are applied to the rest of the world.

Jas, you seen The Cleaners?

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt7689936/

I liked it

I'm at the at the reverse Titty Twister speech rn:

"I wasn't used to seeing penises,
so whenever I went to sleep,
I would dream about different kinds of penises.
That's all I saw - penises everywhere.
...
What a dream - all these different kinds of penises. Wow.
They wer long, short, fat, white, black, skinny, young and very old, blotchy ..."

One of the scariest and most inspirational movies I've ever seen
