Tbh its better to play stronger teams early. If we win we have a good chance to go all the way, and if we lose we can concentrate on league earlier....dont you think?

Yea agree with this. In Europa it’s either win the entire thing or get KOed early to. No real benefit to getting to semi final for eg and getting KOed there. In CL on the other hand each round is a good achievement and you get well compensated financially as well.

Absolutely. And higher profile teams mean less chance of any mental fuck-up by us. We'll be alert as much as possible for the fixtures.

All tough matches incl. EL last 16 tie. This will be a true test of how well we've come so far and if Gattuso and team have a winning mentality or just collapse from the pressure.

I would not blame gattuso at all, milan has zero squad depth and no real goal scorer.

Yeah I agree. It's rough - if not impossible - to play our best squad for 6 games over 3 weeks. Kessie and some others can handle it but one injury or suspension affects the team a lot here.

Just have to believe the mentality is there and our physical form doesn't drop for these fixtures, nor does mentality. Still unbeaten in 2018 -- let's keep it up. :star:

arsenal care the most about the europa league, it's their most realistic path to a CL spot.

they have brighton and watford before they play milan, so he'll probably field a strong starting 11 against milan in both games.
