Primavera play the first-leg of the Primavera Cup first round at Vicenza today.

First official game of the season

PRIMAVERA: VICENZA-MILAN 0-3
13/09/2008

Furlan, Gianola and Angelili scored

Davide Facchin, a youth Milan product goalkeeper currently playing for Padova. I was searching for Milan players on the internet and saw this.
He has 3 games and 9 goals... a Goalkeeper ???
Ok, we have seen many goalkeepers take the penalties, but 9 goals in 3 games? 3 penalties per match ? Or he is a free-kick specialist? Or is it just a mistake by wiki ?

2006-2007 A.C. Milan 0 (0)
2007-2008 Olbia Calcio 31 (0)
2008- Calcio Padova 3 (9)

 If this is completely true, then we should take him back. :D

i got this from another forum
I checked up our primavera results and in the league they have been worthless. Lying fourth... from the end with only 10 points. Possibly that have something to do with the team fielding different players in every game all over the field. from a outside view it looks like the players just been pushed out on random. Osuji is probably the one that have been the most trusted. Strasser seems to have been used in defense...

they also have no reliable scorer like last year with Paloschi.

wtf?? and paloschi scored three goals from 17 appearances bring back that kid and loan him to Arsenal or some good team, parma are 4 points behind the leaders in serie B, i had so much expectations from him

Our primavera sucks and what is baresi doing Grrrrrrrrrr

Baresi isn't working with the Primavera this year, he's doing management/publicity stuff like Massaro. Evani is the Primavera coach. The kid to watch on the Primavera IMO is Albertazzi, the left-back.

As for Paloschi at Parma, he's getting a good bit of playing time and right now, there are 6 teams within 6 points at the top of the league. It's very tight and competitive this season. Only last weekend did Livorno finally pull away into first - by a single point.

Primavera Training coached by coach Giovanni Stroppa, has won two friendlies scheduled test over the weekend. Yesterday, the young Rossoneri have been imposed on Renate's 2-0 with goals by Zigoni and Verdi. Today, the house of Casalmaiocco, Spring Rossoneri has been set to 5-1 thanks to goals made by Novinic, Beretta, Verdi, Schenetti and Pedrocchi.

It's great for Verdi to already be in the Primavera, he only just turned 17.

hi everyone

I think Albertazzi spending another year in the Primavera team, i don't whether this a reflection on his ability or Leonardo wanting to get a side back in January. btw if anyone hasn't seen the primavera list http://www.acmilan.com/infoPage.aspx?id=74235

^That doesn't mean he'll NEVER get a spot in the team.

SPRING: TOMORROW BEGINS THE CHAMPIONSHIP
11/09/2009
MILAN - Ready to spring off the 2009-2010 season: tomorrow, Saturday, September 12th is scheduled the first day that will see AC Milan by Giovanni Stroppa committed to Cesena. As for future engagements, the Cup will return to Italy Wednesday, with the second leg of the first round. After the victory in the match round on September 5, Cagliari (1-0 goal Zigoni), will host the Rossoneri in the Sardinian home Wednesday, September 16

One of our primavera players, Odumadi, I think the one that played in one of the friendlies like 10 minutes and impressed will miss the Under-20 World Cup as he is injured. It's really bad news, he seemed to have anticipated it a lot, and it would have allowed him to develop and show his ability.

Can anyone give us a review about the Beretti, the only name I know in there is Palibirk. They did very very good last season I think, but now that players like Gaeta have moved to primavera, can anyone tell us if they still have the potential? Who's the star too look for in the team?

Primavera look set, especially offensive wise. They look really really impressive with Zigoni, Gaeta, Barbini, Odumandi and others. Midfield looks something special also, but what about the defense?

By the way Del Compare our new signing plays in defense for Allievi Nazionali (Under-16 team).

E' FINITA: CESENA-MILAN PRIMAVERA 2-3
12/09/2009

First the half-time result(2-1) and then full match result(2-3). Nice victory for the boys and if I got it correct I bolded the goalscorers.

The official formations for the match were:
MILAN: Perucchini, Ghiringhelli, De Vito, Romagnoli, Strasser, Albertazzi, Verdi, Pedrocchi, Zigoni, Scampini, Schenetti. All.: Stroppa.

Obviously, from Jasper's post, Merkel came in for Pedrochi; De Lauri for Sampini, and Gaeta for Zigoni.

UNDER 12: SUCCESS FOR MILAN
12/09/2009
MILAN - AC Milan won the 'Tournament Enotria', reserved for the Under 12 category on the final, played today, young Rossoneri beat Inter 2-0.

There's a chance that one of Maldini's sons was playing in that game, since I think one of them plays in that "Age Section"

It's a strong looking side now, suprised they only won 3-2 really. I guess they'll come together. Beretta, Ikande, Oduamadi, Barbini, Novinic not even making the side is a big sign of its strength!

I don't think so, Christian is above that group - he's listed in the Giovanissimi Regionali "A" this season: http://www.acmilan.com/infoPage.aspx?id=74255  Only 6 levels to go and he'll be in the first team. :D
