When Schumi retires, Trulli will be the best forumla one driver around and hopefully he replaces Schumi at Ferrari because with the type of car he has he has done v. well this and last season.

Yup, San Marino Grand Prix at Imola on April 25. The home of Ferrari, and surely have won the last two years.

Don't expect too much on Jaguar this season. Webber is a good driver, highly motivated, but the cars couldn't provide *the tough package* yet to compete the others. If he would have moved to Williams, he could expect more... ;)

The proof he had well-done qualifying is the point of himself should be counted. :)

Next round, San Marino GP at Imola on April 25, 2004.

Finally return to Europe, home for most F1 teams. After three first race, break three weeks, and all teams 'displays' bounce back.

There is no particular reason why Imola this year should be different than 1995's. That time, 12 months later after Brazilian legend Ayrton Senna's death; this time, this year will be his in memoriam-decade . All teams will feel it that way. One name should being 'memorabilia' at this circuit towards Austrian driver, Roland Ratzenburger who also passed away on May 1994.

Honestly, 'break' as said above isn't the right word to describe it. All teams would use this 'break' first week in analyzing and fixing or even improving all mistakes have had happened at three first race. This will be the right moment for being advanced one, and surely Imola will be hard place to fix it all.

For whose irreliability engines or engines trouble, Imola..watch out, it will be the nightmare. Added combination of three short-straightlines, will be really test engines into the peak, where the braking-'the real assasin'-fully dependable at this circuit.

The question is who have the stronger engines at Imola? ;)

It's 'strategy' win indeed. :)

And surely nobody expected while Schumi overlapped Raikkonen. But the fact tells "this is McLaren package."

Button even lost his first place, still fighting for second..and Honda displays well performance.

Bridgestone really makes me smile. :D ;)

So toast for 74th career win. ;)

Next Round, Spanish GP at Catalunya on May 9, 2004

Barcelona held first time Spanish GP in 1991, for replacing Jerez due to safety factor. Built for F1 in particular, modern design; safe for drivers not being bored. But actually many drivers felt it too, and car test to be held at this circuit as well. Technically not too challenging, curves overall 'moderately' and high speed. The key for conquering the track is well organized as possible of aerodynamics set-up. Sharp configuration at La Caixahairpin have great chance of making overtaking manoeuvre.

Anyway Ferrari's Michael Schumacher tops qualifying once again. Second followed by Williams' JPM and third by BAR's Takuma Sato.

Here are 2004 Spanish GP of Qualiying results:

Pos No Driver Team Laps Time/Retired

1 1 Michael Schumacher Ferrari 1:15.022

2 3 Juan Pablo Montoya Williams-BMW 1:15.639

3 10 Takuma Sato BAR-Honda 1:15.809

4 7 Jarno Trulli Renault 1:16.144

5 2 Rubens Barrichello Ferrari 1:16.272

6 4 Ralf Schumacher Williams-BMW 1:16.293

7 17 Olivier Panis Toyota 1:16.313

8 8 Fernando Alonso Renault 1:16.422

9 14 Mark Webber Jaguar-Cosworth 1:16.514

10 5 David Coulthard McLaren-Mercedes 1:16.636

11 16 Cristiano da Matta Toyota 1:17.038

12 11 Giancarlo Fisichella Sauber-Petronas 1:17.444

There is no stopping schumi,he has made it 5 consecutive wins, but i think he will be facing tougher opposition as the season progresses. But he is defintely d best around, barrichello, montoya and company wouldn't be able to equal his tremendous records.catalunya is gone lets watch out for the next grand prix.

That's the unstoppable of Ferrari. The F2004 is really impressive compared to last model which the key to maximize the aerodynamics adjustable to one engine per weekend's rule plus powerful engines and reliability. So you can ask other team principals to make 'great'-car package to be able to challenge Scuderia. Look at B.A.R Honda for instance...or Renault to say at least...;)

Anyway Schumi has also finally done what Nigel Mansell did in opening of 1992 season, five straight wins. Added he makes 59th poles; 75th career wins and 200 grands prix so far. He keep extending the record list...

At Catalunya, 13 times of performances he always brought points... :)

so true! but i don't think that is any driver was put into the ferrari he would be able to dominate like schumi does. schumi is truly a great driver and it is the combination of genius and a car which is light years ahead of any other that causes this boring domination.

recently there has been talk of making formula 1 like formula 3000 where all the cars are basically exactly the same so the a driver's ability is highlighted more than the constructors. however i think that schumi would even excel in formula 3000 type racing because he is a such an amazing driver and he has so much great experience. no one can beat him - he's at his peak!
