Milan Constantly Ask About Javier Pastore - Palermo President Maurizio Zamparini

The former Huracan man has become a prized asset for 'Zampa'...

Palermo starlet Javier Pastore has impressed with his displays in Serie A and many top clubs have taken notice.

However, club president Maurizio Zamparini has told the press he intends to hold on to the Argentine, despite particular interest for Milan.

"At 20 years old, [Diego] Maradona has called him to the national team. I fear the sirens of larger clubs than Palermo," he told Il Corriere dello Sport.

"[Milan director Ariedo] Braida calls me every time Pastore has a good game, he has also sought to buy him. [Milan vice president] Galliani would not ask me, he knows I would say no."

Another Rosanero player grabbing the headlines is centre-back Simon Kjaer, who is linked with the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea and the Rossoneri.

"Kjaer is struggling with the calls of the sirens, I hope that he remains," he concluded.

Pastore is nothing like Kaka' as a player.

Pastore is a proper ball player who passes well & dribbles in tight areas things that Kaka' cannot do, but on the other hand Kaka' is fast & scores goals from players like Pastore who pass to him. Pastore is not fast & his a creator & not a goalscorer.

Pastore might look like Kaka' in appearance but he plays like Rui Costa/Zidane. Pastore might play well behind Kaka' & serve him up some chances.

Will Pastore end up being a top player? No-one really knows.

i bet 99% of forum members haven't seen pastore in 3 different matches, including me lol yet we somehow think he can be new kaka. perhaps he could be great considering kaka was no where to be seen at similar age.

I am saying his style is nothing like Kaka' & more like Rui Costa & Zidane.

Pastore is more of a playmaker & passer who dribbles in tight areas while Kaka' needs wide open spaces to do his best work & run.

It is impossible to compare him with Kaka' because they have totally different styles & strengths.

I am not saying he will be in the same league as Rui Costa & Zidane just saying that his strengths are similar to these two strengths.

I do not think he will be in the same class as Rui Costa or Zidane just that he plays like them.

He does'nt always get in the Palermo side & their president knows how to bull his players up & will say things like "Kaka' went for 68 million so Pastore will soon be worth that" to make it an auction for him.

I'd rather exchange Gattuso+Cash. Flamini's 5 million an year wage is too much for Palermo and Flamini is sought after by every EPL club if we wants to sell- Spurs, City, West Ham. Y shd he go to Palermo.

didnt like hime today, he would receive the ball with tons of space but wouldnt sprint with it.didnt really get past players either still young and stil needs to improve.
