Am I the only one who like D'Ambrosio?

Maybe its because i have seen a lot of torinos games this season... And he has impressed me each of the games, very solid.

I watched a few Torino games + this guys totally average.

Quick dribbler but absolutely zero end product. Couldn't recall seeing a single accurate cross.

As for defending he's very average. Some decent interceptions but also got raped by Maicon against Roma. Didn't see him block a single cross.

He's definitely NOT the LB we're looking for.

The bolded part I agree with. I am one of the few that actually thinks this guy is good. I like D'Ambrosio. I have watched many Torino games and D'Ambrosio is definitely a good player, and an improvement over most of our SB's. But I still think the combo of Abate and De Sciglio is the best we have so I don't understand this. If we are to sign players we should think very carefully and get top class players. I say we go for less quantity and more quality. Honestly, people knock our squad but if we sign 1 world class CB (or have never sold T. Silva) we'd be totally fine. Seriously. Yes we needed a midfielder with some control and creativity, and hopefully Honda can fulfill that. But all we really need now is a top CB... our team just has issues that go beyond personnel, it's about gelling together and all of the off the field issues are eating away at us.

Back to my point, I like D'Ambrosio and he will be good for us, he is a good player and I don't understand the criticism. Only thing is, as you said, he's not the one we need.... we really have a solid squad in my opinion, we just need a World Class player or two to turn this around. No more good solid players, we have enough! We need great now. We need another champion or two, because all we have right now in the form of people who know how to win big games is Kaka... It never used to be like that here... at least for as long as I've been watching...

I didn't mean that they are spectacular players.
But they are not as bad as some people make out.
I have no problems with them being sub players for us.
Zaccardo has perfromed well, whenever called upon this season.

I just like them. I liked both of them even before they came to Milan.
