now ur just talking out of ur ass bruh.. bigly and bonucci had bonds problem so couldnt play vs craiova ( has nothing to do with injuries ) then bigly got his injury in training just 1 day before betis..
and he isnt monto like made of glass -_- check his last 2 seasons

you are the one talking out of your ass. montolivo isn't made of glass, both his injuries were serious ones. other than that he barely got injured.

He's 31 and in his last year sure, but we weakened a rival and bought their captain. He also has experience in the league, compared to that Krychowiak guy we were linked with and has better characteristics for what we need. What's his real value? 17-18m? At most we overpaid by a few milion.

We didn't overpay, he's the best regista in Italy.

ya about biglia i agree we didnt overpay for him
he knew this league very well and doesnt need much time, i also think he will not play many games this season for us, about 25-30 games are acceptable
we need this guy for big matchs tho

beside i want to play silva as much as possible ( if available ofc )
he needs playtime to learn about the league, to gain confidence and to gel with the team

Really am looking forward to just getting a tricky away game out of the way. A victory will put our minds at ease.

My god, shut up Bido.

It's so difficult to be negative after a 10/10 market and you still manage..

We can all be negative after the game if we lose or draw.
Meanwhile , its a big dick mentality to start Cutrone , thats a confident coach.

montella logic: "andre silva doesn't have serie A experience"

*starts primavera striker with 5 minutes of top flight league football*

I guess we'll be seeing plenty of montolivo and locatelli this season

10/10 signing
Or maybe its because Silva played 90 minutes only a couple of days ago?

So he plays the supposedly superior player for 90 minutes against fodder so he has an excuse to not play him in our first proper game?

You really think Montella is looking for excuses not to play Silva? :fp:

He needed to play asap and more importantly he needed a goal or two to build his confidence. Was the perfect game to employ him in. Cutrone could still be heading out on loan. He's certainly not a first choice player for Milan.

Oh I wasn't serious. I was playing devil's advocate.

I was saying what those against Montella would say when looking at your post.

I trust Montella. Silva has time on his side and Cutrone has shown he can bully and power his way through.

I'd prefer Silva to start but as long as we win, I'm fine.

Tbh, our whole team is just so impressive and especially with so many new signings. Nobody thought this possible 3 months ago and bam.

I thought we'd probably end with Musacchio, a FB and an attacker, and now we're starting the season with 2 players from last season and everyone else is new.

Exactly... if we are able to lunch a challenge for the title then its a miracle.
I dont remember any team in the world pulling such a change & gelling as fast.

thats even better if they sit back and wait for us  RR and Conti will overlap killing the shit out of them

we ll control the game hopefully from minute 1

Having two competent fullbacks will help SO much vs teams that sit back.

Silva will be on the field for sure. If not as a starter, then as a sub in the second half.
I think Montella needs a running horse upfront.
Maybe Cutrone is more defensively useful.

100%.

We went from two offensively-******ed FBs to two who are renowned for their offensive contribution.

We pretty much went from Bonera at FB to Dani Alves.

Man , its a known fact that you build a team from the back , midfield & lastly attack ... B never got that fact.
Musa , Bonbon are my favorites signing since I like my CDs .... but Conti-RR is unreal.
Cant wait to see them tonight.
