I'd go full squad here to wrap this thing up. We have 2 games left -> national break -> 10 games in 31 days or sth. Wrap up qualification and group win vs Lille encounters and then full second string when we meet Celtic and Sparta Prague.

+1 but I’d start Calabria over Conti and Dalot over Calabria if need be for the league game after that. Conti vs an inform dangerous Lille seems like a bad idea to me.

Although I feel Pioli will start Dalot and Theo

Has Kjaer missed even one of the games in our unbeaten run ? Ale could be exposed hard without him vs this Lille side. Maybe play Kjaer in this one and rest in an easier game.

Honestly..if Romagnoli still needs Kjaer to hold his hand, we have bigger problems than we realized.

We cannot keep playing Kjaer just because we dont trust Romagnoli to lead the line. He is the captain of the team. About time he steps up or fucks off. He has been one out of two (Samu) who have been underwhelming this season. Every other player has turned it up a notch. Difference is, we still have players to replace Samu if needed so his shit performances dont hurt us a lot. We dont have anyone else to replace Roma bar a green Gabbia, a mediocre Duarte and a broken Musacchio.

Hopefully we will get a CB in Jan who will force Romagnoli to wake the fuck up.

imo use rotation a bit but play for the win with strong lineup

we have option to play this (and hellas game at home) and win
or we need to win away game against lille between napoli (away) and fioretina (home).

also lille has good players relying more on own skills than team play
so using f.e. gabbia is not best option.

Duarte and Kjaer is a possibility Id like to see.

Im not sure if the fitness levels of Duarte allows him to play at a high level yet.

I like the idea of starting Hauge as a RW since obviously Samu doesnt deserve minutes.
Diaz deserve to start games & to be rotated with Hakan.
So i would start Hakan for this one with Hauge on the right & start Brahim in serieA.

Potentially difficult game but we must rotate, I see Verona as the most important game and they will be well rested.

Diaz, Dalot and Tonali must play the full game and I would like to see Hauge play at least 30 minutes or a half.

This kind of situation makes our versatile players very useful, Ibra and Leao could play a half each again, Calabria and Theo could play a half each with Dalot switching sides, Saele and Hakan could play a half each with Brahim playing half in the centre and half on the right etc.

I suppose Rebic may not be able to play the full game, or if he did he might be fucked for Verona. Is Samu still injured?

i hope pioli doesn't look at hauge as just LW, because that would mean he will have 0 playing time.

i believe he can play good as a AM, or even as an RW, i think he is one of our best offensive midfielders we have, i can't understand why pioli still pick noodle or krunic over him.

yesterday hellas was slow, without any talented player in attack
no real threat, dynamic or surprising around them; only good thing is they are move players forward if you give them a space.
both teams (hellas and benovento) had for like 5 good scoring situation but game ended 3-1.
both teams looked like bottom6.
