the 4-3-3 benefits our first team the most. We need a new CF but otherwise, its best for pirlo and seedorf. Problem is we need to bring in more alternatives as they cant be counted on for 40+ matches a year.

galliani made a statement from now on 4-3-3 will be our formation and we'll be looking for players who suit it to ease pressure. Namely priority will be a wide attacker and probably a creative cm along w/ fbs

this is a problem.

Good thing is the lack of confidence is gone.

Hernanes Miranda: Inter Milan tries to snub him http://www.tuttomercatoweb.com/milan/?action=read&idnotizia=13464

Inter would be highly interested in acquiring two young Brazilian players. Rumors, in fact, would like the footsteps of nerazzuri Hernanes and Miranda, followed by time also from Milan. Regarding Hernanes Moratti's interest is due to last summer, when the player was very close to a landing at Pinetina. Miranda, however, is also on notebooks, Fiorentina and Lazio, as well as the Rossoneri, for some time.

He is doing fine in Brazil league. Nothing special or extraordinary, but he add a lot to São Paulo midfield.

And it looks like São Paulo will rebuild their squad now, and so they need money and will almost certainly sell him.

Inter, Milan & Juventus Want Sao Paulo Midfielder Hernanes - Agent
A football agent claims the Italian trio are ready to challenge Sao Paulo's transfer mettle...

Inter, Milan and Juventus face a three-way fight for Sao Paulo midfielder Anderson Hernanes.

The 23-year-old has attracted heavy interest from a number of Serie A clubs, in particular the big three are all said to be monitoring his situation.

Hernanes has also been linked with Barcelona, but Italian agent Sabatino Durante, who is a specialist Brazilian transfer market expert, believes the Sao Paulo man will be heading to the peninsula.

"Hernanes is wanted by the big teams and he is surely liked in Italy by both Milan and Inter, but Juve also asked for information about him," the agent told Itasportpress.it.

"One of the main problems of a January arrival is that he doesn't have an EU passport, meaning it would be easier to find a deal in the summer.

"Barcelona did make an offer previously, but there was no will from the player of Sao Paulo."

hmmm i wonder if his agent will mail me a hernanes informational packet. He's another player along w/ dzeko and krasic who basically beg to be signed by milan. Ridiculous, our players choose themselves, y even have scouts?

BTW Beautiful goal.com.... he's 24, not 23. Australiano or other brazilian, how's his form been in brazil?

I'd be surprised if we don't get him... we've only been scouting him for 2 damn years.... or braida's just been going to brazil and wasting money...

scolari is shit

r9 made scolari ;)

That's pretty true.. Scholari is a cup manager and not a particularly amazing one at that.. I think Karl Pilkington's left testicle could've managed Brazil to the World Cup in 2002. Ronaldo, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho? All you gotta do is pat them on the back and send them on the pitch..

Scholari's track record isn't that impressive. Just the players he had under his command. I wouldn't go as far to say he's shit though, just not good enough calibre for the top jobs.

Hernanes departing Milan possible destination?

Intensify the voices that suggest a possible departure of Anderson Hernanes (23) from Sao Paulo. After the statements by the Brazilian, who said they aim for a transfer to a top European club, they have added the words of teammate Richarlyson: "There would be no surprise that Hernanes be transferred to a European club. It is a great player and the club is going through a period of review. The European market is open and anything could happen. " The Brazilian midfielder has been linked with Milan in the summer, very much to Mr. Leonardo.

I'd love to see Hernanes at Milan. B&G might go for him in the summer, but there is no chance of him arriving in January.

Milan derby for Hernanes
Wednesday 27 January, 2010
Milan and Inter are battling it out to sign highly rated Sao Paulo youngster Hernanes, according to Il Corriere dello Sport.

The 23-year-old is ready to move to Europe and has let it be known that he will raise his voice if Sao Paulo reject any reasonable offers for him like they have done in the past from Barcelona, CSKA Moscow and Hamburg.

Hernanes has been compared with former Milan midfielder Ricky Kaka, but he often plays in a role just in front of the defence like Andrea Pirlo.

Milan were strongly linked with him last summer, but had already filled their quota of non-EU players.

Inter are also in the market for a midfielder capable of taking the creative burden off Wesley Sneijder.

However, they are likely to face competition from Barcelona, Lyon and even Fiorentina who have good contacts in Brazil.

Hernanes is currently being valued at around €14m.
-----------

Hernanes is exactly type of player inter need to complete there midfield :-/

Milan-Hernanes eye to Real

Anderson Hernanes de Carvalho Andrade Lima, better known as Hernanes (24), continues to be persistently pursued by Milan. The Rossoneri's club would close the deal for Sao Paulo midfielder, already in the next few hours, but according to reports from the portal of the Spanish daily Marca, the surprise might fit Real Madrid. The merengues, in fact, once placed Gago to Manchester City for a figure close to 18 million euros, could reinvest that money just for the talent carioca.

I hope he joins us, he is most needed here, just imagine our MF how will perform! If B&G has something to give, Hernanes is the answer.

Hernanes: "If I could choose I would go to Milan"

In an interview with TV Bandeirantes, Sao Paulo midfielder Hernanes (24) admitted that in the event of having to decide between Inter and Milan, choose the Rossoneri's club: "The fact that Kaka have gone there and have made history, ensures that Milan will feel closer to Brazil. For this, I feel more inclined to the Rossoneri's club. " In any case, after this declaration, Hernanes preferred to evade the issue: "Playing in Europe is my dream, but I understand that first of all there should be negotiations. As long as there is nothing concrete, I continue to fulfill my dream to wear the shirt of Sao Paulo. If they are roses bloom, if not happy staying here. " (googled translated)

Hernanes apparently raised by the closure of the winter market. The chase of rumors about his move to Europe and the courtship of several clubs, including AC Milan and Inter, have undermined the serenity of the boy who now just want to do good in the Sao Paulo: "The agony is finally over. They closed the negotiations and now I'm relaxed and relieved. I always said you're all right here in Sao Paulo and I would not have left the team earlier this year, "said the midfielder. For the market can be expected until end of season: "If I leave in July? Not begin to talk about from now, we will see later. "

Hmm you never know what sort of player you're going to get. Will he be another Kaka or will he be another Lucas or Thiago Neves?

... better not, wouldn't want a player followed by Milan to start attracting even more attention than he already does.
