How has Michael Schumacher been doing since he returned then?

Schumacher's performance has still to have a nice story from the media, or be criticised. But these are not the main point though. He seemed to have enjoyed the moments of his comeback that will improve things in and out. Consistently making his place of top 10 grids so far shows he is pretty quiet and relaxed what has been going on. The problem is Schumacher has so far struggled to get the best from a car that does not suit his driving style, but Mercedes have introduced an upgrade for every weekend's races that should help him.
The 41-year-old prefers a car that changes direction quickly, but so far this year the Mercedes has suffered from understeer - when the driver struggles to get the front of the car to turn in.
Well, it's a process. Just give him competitive cars more to his liking, which are still far from expectation that Mercedes would automatically solve all his problems.
Anyway, as a personal view, we suppose not to write him off yet.
