iquel

People make it seem like he's Riquelme.

Hope management ignore him and focus on box-to-box mids.

Actually pretty similar as Riquelme. He is slow as fuck as trequartista reason why he had to change of positions as regista. Riquelme could not cut it in Europe, I just wonder what would have happened if he did as Paredes.

I think Reina is also about mentality, he's there to mentor Donna, to help out in the locker room, be a viable backup. Bring credibility to the squad and experience.

I think the Renia move was to shut up Raiola and his blackmail. If Donnarumma or his agent misbehave again, he could easily eat bench. It also gives Milan an option in case a good offer for Donnarumma arrives. But if Donna behaves, Reina could be a good mentor and reference point for him to learn from. 7m total annual cost is cheap these days. Compare that to Alisson total annual cost at Liverpool which is rumoured to be close to 22m!

You mean the 4th highest goal scorer in Champions League History :fp:

Top UEFA Champions League scorers (excluding qualifying)

120: Cristiano Ronaldo (POR, Manchester United, Real Madrid)
100: Lionel Messi (ARG, Barcelona)*
71: Raúl González (ESP, Real Madrid, Schalke)
56: Karim Benzema (FRA, Lyon, Real Madrid)

Who cares about what he did when he was young?

OracoloRN saying Milan are all in on Higuain and would want to do a deal similar to what they did last year with Juve between Bonucci and De Sciglio. Except this time Higuain-Locatelli. Juve could flip Locatelli to Sassuolo on loan. Morata and Benzema are plan B.

For the midfield Badelj is blocked and the other name at the top of the list is Vidal. Conatcts could begin next week ofr Vidal. Ceballos is also an option but it needs to be seen where he falls in Lopetegui's plans.

Paolo Scaroni is set to operate as Milan president, while the interim CEO role will not be so short; the already identified new CEO Ivan Gazidis will arrive after few weeks (by September at the latest) as he still has to end his contract with Arsenal [@Corriere]

He couldn't cut it at Barca because of their style....but he was good in Villarreal. Specialist players like him need runners around them, while they organize the attack. Riquelme was also pretty good for Argentina because he had Tevez and Messi making runs behind Crespo.

With the exception of Zidane, slow playmakers like Riquelme and P!rl0 require the team to be set up FOR their abilities, else they become a liability. If this is who Parades is, then in the absence of a pacy forward or winger, then I think it's best to look elsewhere.

Lack of pace was a real problem last season. Shitzema or Higuain aren't going to improve this.

A pacy winger should actually be a top priority

Leonardo's arrival at Milan will be announced next week, he will take care of the sporting area. Mirabelli will most likely not remain and will seek an agreement to leave the club [CorSera]

Yes to Paredes.

I don't know what he looks like or how he plays but I DO remember wanting him before and pardon my complacency but my judgement is as good as it gets, therefore he's definitely wanted. :o

Could anyone be so kind and make a short summary of this week's news? I'd greatly appreciate it. Any news about new owner, sporting director (is it really Leo?) etc etc.

Thanks

Milan will make contacts with UEFA on Monday to know the timing of the 'proportionate sanction' requested by the TAS for FFP breach. The expected sanction is a fine, with a part frozen, conditioned to compliance with parameters in the coming years

This is why Financial Fair Play appears in every statement of the new ownership: it will be the compass that will guide the transfer market. It does not mean there will be no signings, but each acquisition must therefore be compensated by the sales [CorSera]

Instead of blowing everything on a striker...pls blow it all on a lw or left....or even a fast SS. Benz is good but he has probably THE perfect team around him.....no thanks.

Juve have Douglas Costa, Cudrado and Dybala....I can't see them all staying there with CR7. pls get one.

actually we need another regista because biglia is fucking shit average player, don't want him in first XI.

sell monto, mauri, berto and loca, buy paredes and badelj, they both can cover all mf position.
other solution is max meyer for free, it's actually even better because he is not worse than paredes and it will save us money for lw and cf, since we can't spend big money before selling other players.

kessie meyer hakan... that's actually good mid with solid backup options (badelj, jack, biglia) but we clearly need wc LW.

It's hilarious to me that someone would even pay for a twitter account

But good reminder to not bother with anything from that "source"
