If the team plays well organized, compact football and everyone knows what to do on the pitch -
1. Individual mistakes happen rarely
2. There's always someone covering you in case of a mistake.
Watch Italy vs Sweden or any match we lost against a minnow team.
Yes, playing like Sweden is an option if the aim of our football was to babysit romagnoli and hold his hand every time he makes a mistake.
Unfortunately, our aim was supposed to be top 4 , so we actually have to care about other things. Like attacking and moving forward.
So our defenders have to grow up and learn to take care of themselves
