milan made a great move here . gabriel is a top prospect , he played 16 games as the brazil u20 starter , he won plenty of silverware this past season aswell and he has been called up for a stage with the national side aswell . In this article it says that gabriel has a bright future and that milan made a nice swoop after the player and the club had an argument over his contract extension (and that is why he hasent played).

Does he have the talent to once become our starting goalie?

This.

With Adiyiah we bought the show piece. The guy who got the records but wasn't actually the best or most important.

With Gabriel we're getting the guy who got the plaudits and was great.

And don't forget that Adiyiah would have scored the winning goal against Uruguay if not for Suarez

Good keeper from what i have seen in the U20 WC. He even continue to play after being kick on the face.Though, I do not understand why a Primavera keeper couldn't have been groomed. He may have great potential, I suppose.

Wikipedia already lists him as a Milan player, and more interestingly, he already has his number assigned #12.

Gabriel's a great addition to our squad, and he'll take over Abbiati's reigns after he leaves Milan.

Great move G, great move indeed

Hope this kid becomes something special . He seems to be solid and seems to be well worth his 400k we spent on him (even if his price tage would of been at least 3-5 mil. if he would of resigned his contract ) . Heres a couple of videos of the brazil u20 of last summer that shows some of Gabriel's saves .

He's handsome, according to m84 new Milan would be a team full of bad guys and ugly players, so he's not in our plan.
Or he's just a bait for another co-ownership deal, loan first buy later, etc.
Enjoy your adventure in fodder club.

I think milan will keep him this year , and then loan him out next year . A bit like they did with dida and that inter did with Julio cesar .

there is talk that is where we are sending Donnarumma, one of our former Primavera players who started in Serie B and played well last year

I would think we should send this kid to a Serie B team where he would start to actually get some game experience since he has no career first team games

Can't really remember him playing. Not even bench player on Cruzeiro.

For the price though, it's a very good deal. Worst case, we sell him for profit.
